Great film! It reminds me of our childhood trips through the Western States in the 60s and 70s. I enjoyed the length of it and I also like the narration. Gosh, people were not concerned about safety around bears then, and these days kids wouldn't be allowed that close to the hot thermal vents and pools, eh? Those kids would be around my Mom's age, so about 90 years old now. This was very nostalgic; the matching outfits were common when fabric was at a premium. Mom did that for us girls; cheaper to buy more yardage of one type. Thanks for the trip!
The footage of Glacier National Park is of the Many Glacier area of the park. The first trail that they experience is the Grinnell Glacier Trail. The second trail is the Iceberg Lake Trail. Thank you for this wonderful footage!
Thank you, I'm unfamiliar with the vast majority of the locations, being Canadian and not having traveled this journey. However, I look forward to learning more as do the many viewers, thanks for sharing your insight. I hope we all can collaborate and learn more. Maybe even identify the family. 🙂
Is this a part something of something? This isn't 4000 miles across America. It's just the west, Ca-Ariz. Are there others parts? Anyways this was great to watch none the less. Thanks.

Relatively quite expensive, especially the Kodachrome colour footage.

THE GLOBE IN THE BEGINNING IS
MOVING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION.
Appreciate the footage but it should have been edited down to match the narration. Can’t keep watching unfortunately
