Some really nice fish on UL tackle. I know your still in the testing phase, but when will your jigs with number 8 hooks be available? I would be interested in getting some of those. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for videos, I I love BFS for bass, got some nice fish with your 1.5 BG heads, I’ve been using Varvas brand for the last year and is now my favorite for ultra light and BFS
Another awesome video Victor! I personally always love your rants lol. Also thrilled to see some diplomacy workout in real life. Ik you are still working on the regular mold, but so you think eventually an ecolite variant of the 1.5G #8 mold would be a possibility?
You know Victor I fished there for 7 years and can count on one hand and have fingers left over of the number of people on that spot fishing. Never understood that….place is loaded with fish. Nice catches.
To tell u the truth I don't see people fishing here at all this year. You've said in some videos that Nickajack is not a good dam for fishing. On this day, yes, it was a sunday, but I was the only boat in the morning, and only 2 more trailers as i was leaving. I couldn't believe it. Maybe they all drive to Guntersville..
Nice catch! I was going to ask (on your shallow spooled reels) do you add backing before adding your mainline, specificially for exotic thin esters and nylons that comes with 120-150m and dont even fill up a 2000s or 1000s all the way. If so what backing linesize?
yes, i put backing just once on the reel, and stays forever. I am not very scientific though... I just eyeball it and it stays there.. Diameter is usually a little higher than main line, just because i put cheap generic lines that are never too thin. But can't be too thick either. No more than 0.15mm
Those were some great looking bass on ultra lite tackle. I would also enjoy catching those fish that way! >)))*> (My Tickler Z's are waiting for a "head")
@@ifishcatfish Thank you for your answer. I don't have much experience. Can I catch a fish at 15 feet with 1 gram? What would be the disadvantages compared to 2 grams of jighead?
@@yasinozkaran4417 U can catch fish at any depth with any jig but its not gona be so easy. There is no substitute for trying yourself. Also buying a jig is not like getting a mortgage for your house that u have to pay for 30 years. U can get 3 sizes and try them all in different depths
Glad the diplomacy worked! Sometimes it backfires and they end up blasting it even more.
Nice bass on the ultralights! 👍👍
yup..
Yep need to keep rod low with bass. Nice catching all the fish. Keep a few for dinner. Salt the fish and hot smoke it comes out good.
Wow, that spot holds a lot of bass. Usually once I've caught one or two bass from a spot, there's none left

I second that motion!
On monday the 'imperfect' mold should have a batch of 300 packs ready to ship. But shipping takes about a month..
Thank you sir. I will be on the lookout for them.

@ifishcatfish i appreciate your reply! I have been debating if thinner line may be better to improve line lay, though i am not sure
few years ago that drag sound used to take me to cloud 9 , now I get impatient lol
You need to do an ultralight bass video on Fox River ..

Hi sir, I am a beginner. Can I ask you a question? Can you tell me how to choose the jighead weight?
1 gram for 0-6 feet, 1.25 for 6-10 feet, 1.5 for 10-15 feet, and 2 gram for over 15
