Pretty sure the slayer helm only helps to not get the cough in masses? So there's no point in bringing it in a small team. Just don't stand next to the cougher. EDIT: nope, you're right. A slayer helm does halve the cough time. Don't think it's worth an inventory space though. Eitherway you're sipping a super restore so you might as well bring an extra restore instead of the helm.
So in small mans you will see a "ct" (Caugh tank). Slayer helm helps get rid of caugh almost instantly, whilst if you dont have a slayer helmet, its random who gets the caugh, and it will last much longer draining your stats at the same time. So its MUCH more worth for a person to just bring the slayer helmet, and tank the caugh. In these small mans everyone is pretty much wearing whats considered "max" gear for small teams, so veryy different from masses. So if u bring a slayer helmet in small teams you will ALWAYS get the caugh :)
@@KingTander Hmm you may be right considering you do 2 hits with reduced stats with the slayer helm vs 4 hits with reduced stats without it. However the person who gets the cough is never random. It's ALWAYS consistently the person standing furthest away from Nex, even if it's just a 1 tile difference. If everyone is standing next to Nex then it's always the person with the lowest magic defence.
@@KingTanderIt’s not random who gets the cough btw. Nex chooses the cough target in the following order: 1) Whoever is furthest away (Standing 1 tile outside of melee distance fulfils this) 2) Whoever has the lowest combination of magic level and magic defense
@@themosthighvaluemaninthega9048 yes man correct, but in a small man team the armour is identical to ALL the people in the SMALL man team.....everybody has the same defence bonuses...so a cough tank stands the furthest away on north side and takes it.
