Hey, played this a bit, not sold on grist and chtulian nightmare but I swapped out the grist for sylvan safe-keeper that 1/1 that you sac a land to give shroud, really powers up the deck vs interaction, could not recommend it any harder.
Nightmare maybe can just be unearth, I find it hard to get good value out of also, not sure on switching that though.

Safekeeper is a great suggestion, I hadn't considered it. Its definitely worth trying at least as a 1-of Chord of Calling target.

I like the direction of this list. Grist looked pretty good, but I’m strapped on WCs. Feel like if you’re cutting ocalate, might be worth trying to sneak in another card that gains life to make the combo easier.

Still fairly new to magic, and completely unfamiliar with timeless other than your videos, but would demonic tutor work in the deck instead of Chord? With Nightmare the additional cost doesn't seem as steep, and the mana base would benefit as well.

Sure, you could put one copy into your deck (its restricted). However, 2 mana for a card that doesn't immediately impact the boardstate isn't always what a creature deck wants, so that's why I didn't include it. I want every card in the deck to impact the boardstate so that the deck can also win by fair beatdown.

@@KoraeTimeless That makes sense. Wanted to add that I had meant Diabolic Intent, which was why I mentioned Nightmare (figured it could help niche situation in enabling Grist). Thanks for the response though, videos have been great!
