That was a great watch, which brought back wonderful memories of my lifelong experience as a Saints supporter. I first went to see them in the 1973-74 season and have stuck with them through thick and thin since then, including being at Wembley in 1976, aged justed 11, to see them win the FA Cup final.
Dont have to be from Southampton to be a fan. I'm welsh and I live eat and breathe saints. That said I spent a lot of time there growing up and have family from there
fake fans arent ruining the game. the primadonna bratty players and ridiculous amounts of money are. out of this world ticket prices and corrupt owners and passionless managers. fans are least of our worries.

This was brilliant, I became a fan in 1990 so basically fills in everything I missed.
Brilliant, thank you
The sun is always shining on the south coast, and the teams are very watchable
Thanks for uploading this, really great to see more of the history of our club!
Frank Worthington looks like baz in the Fat Slags cartoon in viz ? 😂
These were the days not like now.....to many non Southampton people at games fake fans....no passion...
Jack Waren At least most of you're support is local.
We could discuss 00's of reasons why the game isn't the same anymore, but for me the saddest day of all was leaving the Dell.

Don't think 'eat' goes in that saying
