Emily is right about the language stuff. My dad waited until it was too late and now I’m not really interested anymore. My mom on the other hand introduced her language really early on and sustained the effort. I speak her language pretty fluently and I identify with her culture a lot more
They’re happy & I think their relationship works for them. I do like them as a couple, but this interview just showed her bossiness more. It feels like she doesn’t let him have his own thoughts or expressions.
I think she thinks she's smarter than him because he's from Africa. It may be subconscious, but it's kind of like she wants to speak for him because she thinks he doesn't know what to say or how to convey his feelings/thoughts because he's foreign. Idk just my take piggy backing off your comment.

This couple has become my favorite they genuinely love each other. They're happy and her parents are welcoming. So they really represent the show. Well, bridal price is the incorrect word. If they had bridal dowry, the parents probably would have been more comfortable. I mean, that's common in many other cultures

Cameroon has two offical languages -French and English. Emily interrupted and redirected the questions before Kobe could even express himself or explain anything regarding native tongue etc
