I hate the “comic con exclusives.” It’s honestly what got me into buying customs. I’m not spending upwards of $900 on a black head with white eyes. And the customs actually look great side by side on my Spider-Man display. I know people might get mad at me for it, but I’ve given thousands of dollars to Lego so excuse me for buying characters they won’t make or are too expensive to buy from them.

I’m sorry to dissapointed you, but that Sam Wilson captain America was definitely a custom printed minifigure. You could see in the close up that the printing had what I like to call “the fuzzy print effect” where it is a really good printed minifigure, but you just don’t get that glossy feeling when you touch the head!
You should review (if possible) knock-off game figures as in figures that came exclusively with Lego games i.e Superman suit Lex Luthor (Lego DC Super Villains), Unmasked FN-2187 (Lego Star Wars the Force Awakens), Chase McCain (Lego City Undercover), etc.

I have 7 SDCC figs that are fakes but printed on real parts. I really cannot tell the difference at all. The only way I can tell is by touch as the paint feels raised more on the fakes. Have you ever come across these ones?
None. Bricklink was acquired by LEGO so unofficial pieces and figures will never be there. If someone on bricklink sold you knock offs parts, you can easily report them to the site.

Is it true that retired sets go up in value? I really want this Superman man of steel set from 2013. Problem is that even the smallest set that's not even 100 pieces go for $60 on amazon. Is there anyway I can get retired sets for cheaper?
Your Black suit Superman is the man of steel one, there are two other types of regular Black suit superman that are closer. I visited the Philippines and they had a bunch and my girl got me all of them, they are different. Shazam also is close, but there are many types. The green arrow is from The Emerald night series.

I wanted a Bizarro minifigure. Was not going to pay $700 for the offical. Payed $20 for a knockoff. It’s face mimics that of the offical, and the S is backwards. No regrets.
I liked the knock off black suit superman, it looked more Henry Cavil, Justice League superman, with the actual comic con figure being more Christopher Reeves/Comic superman
hey! i used to have an Andrew knockoff when i was younger. It was in a wave of Spider-Man figures labelled under TASM, tho most are from other media like Spider-Man 2099, Raimi Peter Parker, Future Foundation Spider-Man, Carnage (keep in mind this was before the official Carnage), Black Suit Spider-Man (based on the Raimi design tho it was edited from the Ultimate cartoon figure instead of the Raimi 2004 one), and the TASM 1 suit with an original torso but with the Ultimate head with yellow eyes i had Peter, Carnage (both the fake and the official), Black Suit, and Andrew buuut they're lost to time

If they don’t answer, I typically wouldn’t pay more than $6 or so on the figure, if anything! I’d rather “wonder if it was really real” than “regret I unintentionally bought a fake figure.”
Coming from collecting Funko Pops where the knockoffs nowadays are almost indistinguishable from the real ones (especially the Pops not the box per se), all of these are so easy to spot once you know what to look for. Also wanted to say it's obvious xinh is trying not to do a straight knock-off or he/she is what I call a conscientious counterfeiter. Sam Wilson is a terrible knock-off, you can see the pixelation on the print. The only good knock-off is the sheriff deadpool but the counterfeiter tries to differentiate his version with the extra accessories. Tell me something, do the rest of them have Lego stamps on the minifig parts or is it just the Sam Wilson? Very informative video. Thank you!
Also isn't the dead giveaway on the Sam Wilson minifig is that they intentionally didn't have the strap of the goggles extend all the way to his hair? I compared the knock-offs on herobloks (great site..thank you!) for Sam Wilson and looks like the goggles either don't extend all the way or his exposed face area is a different size on the fakes. Or in the case LeyiLe, a different expression.
Given how stiff the limbs are and how fragile the plastic is…I’d go display. But, I’d keep them separate from your official figures. Some people like to combine customs and knock offs and genuine figures together, but I like keeping them separate.
I think that Sam Wilson minifigure is from MinifigFX because I saw a review from Minisuperheroestoday and it's the exact same thing same printing same pieces just an information 👍

The Amazing Spider-Man figure is better looking than the official. The plastic on the other hand looks poor quality. I would use official Lego mini figure blanks as bases.
So most of them I bought on Etsy, but as I showed in the video, the seller no longer exists. I’d recommended searching Etsy or Ali Express for these guys as most of them are easy to find!
Damn I use to have a fake replica of the Andrew Garfield minifigure when I was a kid it comes with a motorcycle and I did broke it because of some kid shenanigans because to me it's not really a big deal at the time but me now I realize how good that minifigure is even if it's unofficial Lego 😩😩😩

Actually, the black suit Spider-Man’s torso has different looking spider legs than venoms.
There are two Venom torsos, and the older one from 2013/2014 is the same torso as the comic con figure.
