Gstaad is an upscale resort town in the Bernese Oberland region of the Swiss Alps. With its top hotels, prestigious international boarding schools, gourmet restaurants, luxury chalets and nearby Saanen airport, this traffic-free holiday village is popular holiday destination amongst international celebrities and riches. The region has a further 9 chalet villages alongside Gstaad, located at an altitude of between 1,000 and 1,400 metres. Well hello from NZ 🇳🇿 I have just discovered this channel while surfing UA-cam and have subscribed. Switzerland is a place I would love to travel to particularly for the small towns and villages such as depicted here, I find them all very peaceful and interesting. Now I do have a question as I assume that all of the trains that seem to connect these towns are all operating on the metre gauge system that you have there as it is quite obvious that standard gauge could not navigate the tight terrain in these areas which gives reason for my question as I have seen here and in other videos I have watched in the past that you have a third rail on the more rugged inclines and I have been trying to work out if this is what we know as a grip rail where wheels are mounted horizontally and are forced onto the sides of the rail to assist climbing and braking, as it doesn't seem as if it is a rack rail as I think the trains move too fast for that to work. Many thanks in advance and I will certainly be enjoying more of your videos.

Interesting moment: I was enjoying the video until started to see some weird mark almost in center. It appeared that it's watermark. For a while it was ok, but lately it started to annoy. But I've never noticed clear watermark on the top right side :)))) So my question is: why the hell are you trying to disturb calm and nice view ?
