just discovering this series.... this episode on Kauai brought back lots of memories as well as reminding me of the back country tours which we didnt have time to do. Will have to return some day but in a few months we are going to be exploring Maui and the Big Island!
"Would you tell me please, which way I ought to go to from here?" Asked Alice. "That Depends a good deal on where you want to get to." Responded the Cheshire Cat. "I Don't much care where---" "Then it doesn't matter which way you go."
can you imagine if it was public land? There would be garbage everywhere, and people always find ways to fuck up beautiful pieces of land. The people who own the land spend a decent amount of money maintaining the land. I doubt the government would or can do the same with precious tax payer dollars.
@@EliteOpossum5 that means they can sell to a hotel if they wanted.....it's not that is private that is bad, it is that is privately owned by non native Hawaiians.
Its funny how they're going green the woman said, BUT, I almost bet, the power on the island is supplied by natural gas, and burning fossil fuels, soooooooooo

No, the leaf top is just superhydrophobic. The just behaves like Mercury because of that.
I live near there and will be posting weekly videos. This one is nice. Let me know if you need any videos from me.

john Olson, any chance you lived in Coronado as a kid?
I think it's crazy how much of the land is owned and not public.

Everything on this island is privately owned. WTF?! How can a waterfall be privately owned? This should be public land.

FifthGear Also the fast that it's private means no hotels. That would destroy all of the vegetation.
