Thanks, Iain! It's one of my favorites. Baby Groot was a Christmas present from our grand daughter. Love it! Cheers, Mate!

It seems that if I don't treat all the tank it tends to come back from any that is left behind, like an endless cycle. Is there any fish or shrimp that will eat the black alge that you know of?

@@ObiJuanForce I’ve been working on it for several months now. I just saw some on the edges of a couple leaves of a Cryptocoryne. I removed those parts of the leaves. Originally I took just about everything from the tank. All the plants went into a hydrogen peroxide solution for several weeks. The orchid pot and all the other hardscape got bleached. I scraped the end glass down (and missed a bunch on one end). Did a water change. Then I kept stirring up the and ran a couple hang on back filters to keep picking stuff up. Then eventually I put all the plants and hardscape back into the tank. And yup - it probably would have been easier and faster to just strip it down, bleach everything, and start it over. I hope that all makes sense. 😁
