Keep doing your thing bro. For someone (me) that has watched car enthusiast UA-camrs for MANY years like TJ Hunt, Freshkicks, Throtl, etc, I’d have to say that you’ve become my favorite. Building whips with tasteful OEM mods is right down my alley. I drive an M6 GC Comp, an M3 E92, and an i3 as my daily. Id say that you are building things that I’d build myself, but now I don’t have to because watching your videos allows me to live those cars, through you, and enjoy it as if I’m doing it. Great video, educational for sure. Fun fact, VW Gof R's in NA "North American" spec along with a few other countries comes direct injection only. Which of course they suffer from carbon build up as do all direct injection motors. While in Germany and a few European countries the Golf R E888 4cyl get both direct injection and multi port injection, spraying fuel both direct into the cylinder as well as fuel before the cylinder of which the fuel is able to hit the backs of the valves/injected into the port keeping the valves clean. This ensures the engines suffer from very little to no carbon buildup.

All vehicles should be equipped with multi port and direct injection. Would certainly cut down on maintenance "especially for those who do minimal required maintenance, or less" allowing for vehicles operate more effectively over longer periods of time/milage without need for carbon buildup removal.
I've always preferred it when you work on builds that are more relatable to what most people can afford

I think it's really dope they allow you to do so much to your own car. I wish my shop allows me to do what I know how to do or what they want to show me. Do you cover the labor?

It’s a trade off, I market their shop. We’ve been making videos for years together, so it’s a partnership but also a family over here.

Ive heard anywhere from 500-800 depending on shop. Obviously if engines out it’s A TON easier

no need to scrape. that's what you want to avoid. the purpose of the walnut shell is that it's softer than the metal so it won't scratch it which causes more build up faster. just keep blasting and put the tip of the wand down deep over the valve and rotate the tip it will get everything fast. and don't open the shell lever all the way your wasting it a box can last 4 jobs
