The north end of the prom needs extending to the headland above Llanaber , or the low laying area could be severally flooded, and the railway washed away
Graham Gray It’s certainly getting affected along there. They built a fence in front of the railway with a deep concrete wall under it a few years ago when it got damaged. The pebbles seem to be getting pushed towards the fence and banking up recently but closer to the tide line it does look lower down now.
Great footage but just be careful. You life is far more important than a UA-cam video. It only takes one rouge wave or peddle to strike and it's game over!
OMG..lovely Barmouth...hope no one was hurt ❤
Wonder what Fairbourne was like that day as it's so low lying ,wonder if they had floods
I don't think Fairbourne took too much of a hammering that day. The sea wall still protects it pretty well there.

Thanks, you’re quite right. It’s important to stay safe.
Looks like you got a bit wet videoing that one. Hope it all gets cleared up before the bank holiday next weekend
Yeah soaked to my waist but amazingly my rain jacket and hood kept my shoulders etc totally dry.
