- In todays video we revisit an old favourite of mine from the 360/PS3 era of gaming and that is Sleeping Dogs. I'll be playing the definitive edition which while is something that I very much welcome, it comes with its own variety of trophy related bugs that can absolutely hinder a trophy hunters experience. Saying that, without the bugs it's an absolutely solid game

I love this game! I got the plat and I got the achievements on xbone so I 100% feel your pain for a couple of these trophies

Literally all of them were so easy
What's hilarious is that I got this gane when I asked my parents for a GTA game but they got me this so I was confused and disappointed at first. Then I got to fighting and I was loving the story and fighting in this game and how guns kind of take a back seat since this is another country. Now whenever I see people talk about how underrated this game is I agree wholeheartedly.
I had no idea some of the trophies were buggy. I got em all no issues at all. Only issue I had was the game crashing a lot since I played it on PS5 lol.
I heard they were buggy but had seen multiple other UA-camrs get it with no issues either so I expected it to be the same for me but nope, just my luck to get hit with a bug
One thing I really love in this game is that some costumes have a completely different fighting style (wing chun and drunken fist come to mind) which is pretty great imo.
Idk if someone already pointed it out, but jacky never Killed anyone with his own hands until that precise scene. You can notice it since in every gunfight he never gave a fatal shot (if you looks closely)

I remember back in 2015-16 they add this as a free monthly game on Xbox, i loved it

I love this game so much is sad there isn’t a sequel. I got the demo on 360 and played it non stop, finally with Xbox live gold they gave it for free and I was in love instantly.

Sleeping Dog is underrated sad we never got a second game
I 100%'d this game back in the day, when Games for Gold on the Xbox 360 gave it out for free. My parents wouldn't buy me GTA, so I had to do what I could with Sleeping Dogs.
The side content was varied, the combat very satisfying, the driving was fun, it was all around a great time. Sure, some of the collectibles could turn into a bit of a chore to collect, and some of the side content can eventually get repetitive, but what can you do? It all ways still enjoyable anyway.

One thing i've learned from Sleeping Dogs and Cyberpunk 2077, never befriend anyone named "Jackie".
Meanwhile in both they end up closer to the person they shouldnt be. I felt so bad during this game when Winston and his wife were taken out on their wedding day like i didnt even know them but it hurt my feelings bc we had just gotten close to him as a person.
I would love for someone to remaster this or make a sequel

The challenges were just a nightmare for me. What if you did the Fallout franchise, as the new TV show has come out as well? 😏
Actually currently going through Fallout 3 At the minute, will be doing new vegas next and then the PS5 update for Fallout 4. Most likely give shelters a playthrough as well.
Thinking of making a guide for each as well to be fair, less focus on telling the story and more what to do, where to go and when to do it to ensure you get all the trophies/achievements. think it could come in handy especially for a lot of the new players
Did you have any trouble getting Sleeping Dogs working on PS5? I tried playing it a few months ago but it wouldn't let me play it. Kept crashing on the main menu cause it wasn't compatible on PS5 when I played it.
No actual issues being able to play it on the PS5 just the issues with the trophies that affected me. Give it another go it may be okay now, could’ve been something in an update
I can’t even grind this game on ps cause definitive so bad it keeps crashing like kamikaze
Tried to get the plat, but since this game kept crashing. I deleted the game.
i only need 1 trophy for the plat and it is the combat exp trophy bc i just cant get a higher score on the missions
If you haven’t got it yet, there’s two specific moves I used a lot when trying to get better scores and that was the leg break and dim mak moves, they give a decent amount of score each time

Damn I honestly do feel you there, what ones bugged for you? Luckily for me it was just the fashion victim trophy but I know quite a few are buggy

@@santinopugliese1837 I got on PS5. Here is how you do it. Make sure you have the PS app on your phone, then search for Sleeping Dogs or any PS4 game u want to get, buy it the game on the app, and press install it to your console. That's how I was able to get Sleeping Dogs on PS5, I almost got the platinum for it. Took 4 days and counting.
@@santinopugliese1837 I can be wrong, try to search it on the ps app using your phone. The game should be here even if you don't see it on PS5. If I remember correctly I have done this to get it.
