Awesome video man :)
thank you Chuffy ;)
I always enjoy your tutorial Carsten. In regard of a white wash on a dark yellow model I am planning. Do you think it is worthwhile to do shading and modulation on the yellow?
Hello. great video. I just have one question, why did you switch whih white you were using. was it just because it is the top of the tank?
i hope you dont listen to the music you add to your videos:PLOLOLOL
Thank you for the tutorials!!! very helpful and creating tons of ideas!!!!
Hi Carsten!! I'm having FITS trying to use that MIG chipping fluid!!!!HELP!! well i wanna use on essentially 3 colours as most 1944 tiger tanks had BUT the chipping fluid only works with 2- a base colour and the top colour..this product is sucking for me right now!! any suggestions on using the dunkgeld plus the green and german brown colour on top of that AS MOST german tanks had???
Hi Mikey, I have the same problems when i work with three colours on the chipping fluid. When the chipping fluid is dry, you must paint faster with the other colours...dont wait too long to make the scratches....and work only on small areas...like one side from the turret... i didnt tried to work with a layer over every colour...to to figure out what the best waiting time is, I would try it on a plastic spoon... I try to ask some of my friends how they do it and i will tell you asap....greetings Carsten
Hello Mikey...I asked Rick Lawler..he is a top modeller..!!! he said " Primer Color>Satin Clear to protect>Chipping Fluid>#1 Camo Layer>Chipping Fluid>#2 Camo Layer>Chipping Fluid>#3 Camo layer...I hope it is helpful for you to work through 2-3 colours.
Carsten Tightheadprop
thanks..do you mean satin varnish?? to protect primer colour?? thanks bro!!
yes..satin vanish
Brilliant
Where did you get that model? I'm looking for experimental panzer models.
Lovely Grey I think that's the Trumpeter E-50
What are your thoughts on hairspray vs. the Chipping Fluid?
Hello Chris, if you are happy with the hairspray what are you use to have the same effect on your vehicle, stay with the hairspray !! I am a lazy guy...lot of work and I have a family. the chipping fluid is the best and fastest way for me to make these kind of chipping effect in a short time.
Very good video, I plan on using these methods on my vehicles soon too!
Skarnir Warboss thank you Skanier !! tell me please if you are happy with the result when you are ready with your vehicle !!
