Starting a Permaculture Orchard from Scratch

Hi I'm Dan and I just moved into a house in the cold Zone 3 of Northern Ontario!
I planted most of these plants fairly late in the year and the soil is still very fresh of new mulch and tilled in organic matter that i hope will improve the soil life over time.
The property has a river that runs beside it will a great natural slope and large grass fields that were once farmed that is an excellent source of organic matter to be tilled in or used as a mulch.
I plan on updating as I go on to share and remember the journey of turning overgrown grasslands into a thriving fruit forest!
