For those of you wondering how the Cornett was vs their engines, that’s not exactly the best track/conditions to make a comparison. Also keep in mind that was a 410, where they are running much bigger engines and no one knows if that’s an older Cornett or newer… Had he ran it at Bristol you would’ve been able to tell much better. Joseph did have a good qualifying effort when the track was decent, so who knows…

Hey guys God run considering not your own stuff. But Joseph either of your motors sound much more powerful than what you were in. Last year when you ran that car I would've said opposite. But you did good with what you had. Looked loose early in the night and tight in the feature! And Jesse that was a sharp car but wish the result would've been better! They'll get they're issue figured out. Not your fault!! Good job guys!!!
It looked like it was a bit tighter when he picked up the throttle vs the capitals. Which could be setup, but thats the one thing i can always see different between a capital and longhorns. When the longhorns get into the throttle mid corner it acts like its gonna lift the left front, and sitting on the right rear more so then the caps.
I can kind of understand his mindset. He's driving someone elses car. I would hate to be the one who tore it up. But Henderson could have told him (and may have) not to worry about the car just drive and get all you can get. Don't know that Joseph was being overly cautious or holding back (don't believe he was). I just know how I would probably be in that same situation.
