I enjoy the base game quite a bit and it sounds like the expansion helps flesh out the game a bit more. The command center looks a bit awkwardly designed in terms of card placement but the gameplay concept seems good. Does the inclusion of this expansion help nudge the G.I. Joe deck builder over Venom Assault or is it still too close to call a definite winner or preference?
Yeah, the command center is a bit clunky. I might just print out my own stickers and fix those 2 panels. Lol
Does it replace Venom Assault? I dunno. They do things differently enough that I will always own both copies. I think GI Joe is the quicker less brutal game. I’ve seen people get completely disgusted when they get to a point in their turn that the villain becomes completely untouchable and they can’t even roll the dice.
Have you see. The next expansion for GI Joe? Zartan and the Dreadnoks! I already preordered!
@@lloydkochinka4257 Coldsnap I guess is the next expansion? Thanks for the reply. I enjoy VA a lot but I'm finding G.I. Joe is a bit easier to table and thus played more. Both have their strengths though. Cheers.
@@en4crcdn yeah Cold Snap. But it also has Dreadnoks. So the swamps and the snow. Lol
And yeah, I think GI Joe is more accessible and easier to table.
