- This is a technicolor Oil and Water card effect. Marlo had the first 6 card version in a 1958 issue of Ibidem magazine. This version is called More Mixed Up Blues and appeared in my Al Cardpone lecture notes, 1996.

Absolutely unbelievable! I truly don't have a clue. An 8 card oil & water can't get any cleaner. Bravo!

The best thing about this version of oil and water is that the secret to how the effect works is actually very simple, but it's the perfected performance that Allan gives which makes it so mind-blowing! We're not worthy!

Allan, you really began my road of card conjuring with the card control series. Life continues to be a great ride improving and brainstorming. This version of your mixed up blues is just too good. I don't know if you remember me, I'm Daniel a tall German that occasionally showed up at boomers 17, 18 years ago. Now I'm a casino shift manager in the Solomon islands of all places.
You and I once performed at a table at boomers for a bunch of people going back and forth doing magic tricks that was in 1999.
