If you do hunter rumours to hunter 99, you'll end up getting probably at least 1million prayer experience in blessed bone shards and sun-kissed bones as loot as well as some decent money. Raids might a bit tough, I'd recommend giving the Moons of Peril a try. They're much more chill and every kill has a 1/19 chance to drop a unique item which range from 600k to 7mil, and on top of that the regular loot will include more bone shards for prayer training.

You should do smaller bosses before trying raids. Do Zulrah, Corrupted Gauntlet, more Vorkath, etc… Thise are as good or better money makers for an average PVMer. If money is all you want, colosseum wave 1 is 3.5M per hour. Even grinding Giant mole is good GP/Hr PVM. Get more experience with prayer flicking, gear switches, and osrs movement before trying raids. Learning osrs mechanics at raids is like a toddler learning math in a calculus class.

If ure dedicated to max and thats what u wanna do go for it, but a more efficent way would be putting the money u get from vyres towards gear so that u can get into raids/nex/other bossing and then max after building up a cashstack from raiding.

Dont get into raids yet, if anything get into tob because u dont need alot of gear, just a whip, blowpipe, dwh, trident, void.
If I were u i'd just get 99 thieving and then pickpocket elves/vyres depending on what is more gp/h.

I'm in the same boat right now. Recently hit base 90s, finished achievement diaries... now what? I don't do a lot of PvM, but I have two immediate goals: Vorkath and ToA. Both are money printers and ToA is probably the best way to get into late game raiding. I did a bunch during Leagues, which I know is not at all the same, but at least now I know the mechanics to ease into it for real. I don't think I'm going to bother with CoX or ToB until I decide to get into a raiding community, but ToA is totally doable solo.

As a complete newbie, don't raid to make money for skilling. You are opening a big can of worms in terms of learning and creating additional goals that likely also require money. Plus the money from raiding is very inconsistent. You might go dry on a purple or you might spoon something big early, if you want say 20-200m to level con, it is very hard to predict how long that will take at cox. If you're not enjoying it vs what you want to do that's a lot of time where you don't really want to be (plus if you're new and in poor gear it's not as good as you might think).
Props on getting close to max without raiding or doing much PvM, I'd keep doing what you enjoy and if that's maxing then keep at it, there are ways to make money skilling, flipping, or other more straight forward and consistent PvM like Vorkath. By all means get more into PvM and learn raids if you want to, but the decision making process is not as straight forward as 'I want x million gp to skill, let's do some chambers for the first time ever and I'll have the money in no time'.
Edit: For some context, I run CoX on my iron and am at 170ish kc. I enjoy a few raids here and there and have been doing so occasionally with various people for months. One guy I often duo with - we've not seen anything in maybe 20+ raids including scales. Last night we did 2 raids and got a dex and anc top. I'm split, so it was like 92m in just over an hour for him, but typically it's about 600k if that on most evenings.

Raiding should be treated as a break from the grind, You can do rumors/black chins and then once you need a break or you find yourself getting bored you can use raids to take a break.
If you do one or the other straight to your goal it can really burn you out. You'll get sick of leveling skills if you focus on maxing or you'll get bored of raiding because you haven't got anything in a while. Both i've experienced while maxing.
Both have a bittersweet feeling to them, Once you get enough money and you can fund your skills it gets a bit boring knowing all you really can do is skill. But on the flipside after maxing it feels like you need to do things strictly for money until you can fund your gear. If you focus on doing a bit of both you can end up not only maxing but still have plenty of money to whatever afterwards. It felt awful only having around 300m-400m after max.
Just keep one thing in mind while progressing, Runescape isn't going any where. There's no rush to accomplishing your goals. You should always do what you enjoy. If your 99 in a skill and you want the pet, Go for it. If you want to do CA's do it, Because eventually you'll end up doing it anyways so just have fun with it.

I think if you want to learn raids it's a great thing to do on the side while leveling to max. Like others are saying, it's going to take time and be pretty rough to learn especially with relatively less pvm experience. It might be worth doing other, easier content first or alongside learning the raids. I think doing any pvm is probably the best way to make money and to mix up the skilling grind a bit too. Obviously if you can skill and make money it can be worth it but sometimes you're spending twice as long leveling because you're saving 500k/h to spend twice as long leveling when you could be making 2m/h and saving time overall. Doing vyres is great for example, a small loss on xp/h but huge gain in gp. Mahogany homes might not be if you're only saving a little and spending much longer grinding it out. Just sending 99's and suffering through them is kind of a famous method to burn out right before a break or quitting after max cape.

I was thinking about this today- I wanted to rush training some skills but if it’s a combat skill youll be skipping half the fun of the game. Skilling skills I could care less about unless a mini game is attached. Idk what I would do anymore if I maxed

if your only goal is to max, do not raid. There are skills (eg rune crafting) that will more than pay for the rest of your skills to 99. if you start raiding you're going to lose hundreds if not thousands of hours towards your max
That being said, i personally play the game for pvp and i do all my skilling in the wilderness.

Alot of your skilling grinds on the way to max will be highly profitable, if you don't go for EHP methods. Runecrafting for example, doing blood runes to 99 will make you well over 100m, mining at motherlode mine is like 80m profit to 99 or amethyst is closer to 200m. Even agility will make you close to 100m in marks of grace. Back when I was maxing I paid for my buyables with the profit from other skilling grinds and I had a lot of money left over even. That's not to say you shouldn't learn raids but you shouldn't feel pressured to learn end-game pvm just to be able to afford your buyables. Get into pvm if it seems like fun to you, that's all that matters.

After your thieving grind do black chins to 99 hunter youll make 130ish mil then do herb and smithing a little more cost efficiently so you still have enough money to pay out construction and prayer
