I'm not sure why but by 31:28 I started crying. Everyone involved you did a fantastic job. And the voice acting is such top notch to tell this tale. I'm not going to lie, it was so hard not to skip towards the end. Not because anything was boring. It was because the attachment and ominous feelings were driving me nuts. I forced myself to see this through. Because seeing my lords struggles and the bond with the simple family. I hoped and prayed that they would never see him as a monster. 😢 Edit: By the end... I understood why I started crying. I never knew how he ate. (I'm pretty new here.) But somehow I knew... I was so scared. I was happy when he woke up.. but then I knew. Hi I’m also new TvT My heart was beating really hard and fast under the whole playout of the movie, like I was so invested, and the part where the Jiro finds Vox almost made me cry out of panic (I’m a hyperempath this always happens ;v;). Everything in this film was spectacular milord! From the compelling storyline, to the beautiful animantion, music and voice acting, we can tell that so much has been put into this project. I immediately cried when I heard the mother scream and the dream sequence was both horrifyingly dark and (from a technical standpoint) incredibly tense. The way this story was told, with the different forms of medium used to portray specific scenes, was a unique experience for me and a definite treat for the eyes. I was glued till the end-the varied emotions shown all the way through from the music choice down to the visual editing and writing, is also proof of the stellar storytelling. THIS! The story was phenomenal, the unreal struggles a demon had to face that differs from us humans, interacting with characters like THIS was supposed to be the point of vtubing! the timeless stories, the character acting, something different from the stuff we see in IRL (streamers), the imagination of having your mind race with questions on how it continues or how things came to this point that isn't shown! And to think that art like this is almost non-existent in vtubing now... because all the fans demand is nothing more than glorified IRL streamers with a mask like some sort of neverending halloween party. that 99% of nowadays audience demands to see the person behind the avatar instead of immersing themselves in the character, rendering a ton of things in "vtuber tradition" nothing more than pointless wastes of time. I hope you'll continue to put in effort like this, though not at the cost of your own well-being "Vox Akuma".
i watched the premier and i've already rewatched it. EVERYTHING about this movie is amazing: the art, the writing, the animation, the voice acting, the music, the editing, you can TELL how much love and passion was put into it! the symbolism, the parallels, how expressive all of the characters are, the abrupt hard cuts (i hope i'm using the right term for them lol) that made me feel like my heart stopped, everything, it was all so good. you said that when the film came out that we would feel lucky and you were absolutely right, i feel incredibly lucky to have been able to watch this movie, i feel incredibly lucky to have been able to experience this landmark, i feel incredibly lucky that i've been able to be here as you made this project come to life into a full feature-length film. i'm so SO proud of you, vox, thank you so much for working so hard, thank you so much for making this film, thank you so much for being you and thank you to everyone who worked so hard to help make this a reality! everyone who worked on this film is so incredibly talented and did AMAZING!! thank you so much again
This was genuinely beautiful, Vox. Seriously - from the sound design, the artist direction, the voice actors.. I am speechless The use of colour being so brief yet impactful - only showcasing the colours of fire, your eyes etc.. the sound fully dragging us all in, making it feel alive.. We only knew these characters for a brief period of time; and yet I felt so attached to them in said designated time BECAUSE of the voice actors; and I am excited to follow their work moreso after this! (I already knew three of the cast, yet Cellochicita really blew my breath away - I felt so attached and protective of Jiro from the getgo because of their delivery, and of course your writing!) I also adore how it's left up room for certain interpretations such as the graves - Jiro meaning second son leads me to guess that maybe, just maybe, they had already lost a child - and one of the graves she often goes to grief at is their oldest. I loved the suspense within the final 'dream/nightmare' where Jiro was also going to hold onto his hand - and I assumed then and there something was up, simply because he would not have been around at that time; but because he held on... I guess it simply resembled what had happened in real life too. Your own voice acting was breath taking, by the way - for this and the surprise that came after. My own thoughts regarding your lore now? I don't think you are a man who deserves pity (LORE WISE, I GOTTA SAY THIS OUT LOUD LMFAO-), for all 522 + 1 lives are on your hands; and whilst it was simply something that happened on instinct - they won't get their lives back, whilst you have to live with this endless burden. I think it is a beautiful fate given; and I am glad we got to find out more on what had happened. I am glad we got to see whomst the reflection in the sword was - and knowing it was somebody dear to your past... It felt all the more impactful, as though it came full circle; though I assume that means they had also passed away merely a year prior to the events as well. either way; I am very excited to see or know if it expands further, and if not - we are more than well fed, if so? it will be a delight for the future. You have made such a large move within this community by doing this, and have set a standard AND blueprint, and you deserve to feel proud because of that, and I hope you do. The music, the anger and sorrow in every stoke of the violin, seeing everything that happened that day in the castle, the pain in your voice Vox when Jiro came near, it was so beautiful and painful. The sweet moments were so precious, the sad moments were heartbreaking, this was so well done. And the song at the end, god everything was just so amazing. I'm not sure why but by 31:28 I started crying. Everyone involved you did a fantastic job. And the voice acting is such top notch to tell this tale.
I'm not going to lie, it was so hard not to skip towards the end. Not because anything was boring. It was because the attachment and ominous feelings were driving me nuts. I forced myself to see this through. Because seeing my lords struggles and the bond with the simple family. I hoped and prayed that they would never see him as a monster. 😢
Edit: By the end... I understood why I started crying. I never knew how he ate. (I'm pretty new here.) But somehow I knew... I was so scared. I was happy when he woke up.. but then I knew. And I cried for everyone again. 😢

The way this story was told, with the different forms of medium used to portray specific scenes, was a unique experience for me and a definite treat for the eyes. I was glued till the end-the varied emotions shown all the way through from the music choice down to the visual editing and writing, is also proof of the stellar storytelling. The story was phenomenal, the unreal struggles a demon had to face that differs from us humans, interacting with characters like THIS was supposed to be the point of vtubing! the timeless stories, the character acting, something different from the stuff we see in IRL (streamers), the imagination of having your mind race with questions on how it continues or how things came to this point that isn't shown!
And to think that art like this is almost non-existent in vtubing now... because all the fans demand is nothing more than glorified IRL streamers with a mask like some sort of neverending halloween party. that 99% of nowadays audience demands to see the person behind the avatar instead of immersing themselves in the character, rendering a ton of things in "vtuber tradition" nothing more than pointless wastes of time.
I hope you'll continue to put in effort like this, though not at the cost of your own well-being "Vox Akuma".

i watched the premier and i've already rewatched it. EVERYTHING about this movie is amazing: the art, the writing, the animation, the voice acting, the music, the editing, you can TELL how much love and passion was put into it! the symbolism, the parallels, how expressive all of the characters are, the abrupt hard cuts (i hope i'm using the right term for them lol) that made me feel like my heart stopped, everything, it was all so good.

This was genuinely beautiful, Vox. Seriously - from the sound design, the artist direction, the voice actors.. I am speechless
The use of colour being so brief yet impactful - only showcasing the colours of fire, your eyes etc.. the sound fully dragging us all in, making it feel alive..
We only knew these characters for a brief period of time; and yet I felt so attached to them in said designated time BECAUSE of the voice actors; and I am excited to follow their work moreso after this! (I already knew three of the cast, yet Cellochicita really blew my breath away - I felt so attached and protective of Jiro from the getgo because of their delivery, and of course your writing!)
I also adore how it's left up room for certain interpretations such as the graves - Jiro meaning second son leads me to guess that maybe, just maybe, they had already lost a child - and one of the graves she often goes to grief at is their oldest. I loved the suspense within the final 'dream/nightmare' where Jiro was also going to hold onto his hand - and I assumed then and there something was up, simply because he would not have been around at that time; but because he held on... I guess it simply resembled what had happened in real life too.
Your own voice acting was breath taking, by the way - for this and the surprise that came after.
My own thoughts regarding your lore now? I don't think you are a man who deserves pity (LORE WISE, I GOTTA SAY THIS OUT LOUD LMFAO-), for all 522 + 1 lives are on your hands; and whilst it was simply something that happened on instinct - they won't get their lives back, whilst you have to live with this endless burden. I think it is a beautiful fate given; and I am glad we got to find out more on what had happened. I am glad we got to see whomst the reflection in the sword was - and knowing it was somebody dear to your past... It felt all the more impactful, as though it came full circle; though I assume that means they had also passed away merely a year prior to the events as well.
either way; I am very excited to see or know if it expands further, and if not - we are more than well fed, if so? it will be a delight for the future.
You have made such a large move within this community by doing this, and have set a standard AND blueprint, and you deserve to feel proud because of that, and I hope you do. Ended up catching this late because of a busy day, but I'm literally sitting here with tears in my eyes. The score, the art, the acting - everything is just so amazing. I feel like its not often(as someone that has really only been following vtubers for a short time now) that we see something like this occur. I feel like this goes beyond a passion project and really shows what people are capable of. All of this to say that Vox and everyone else involved did such a fantastic job!!!!!!

From the beginning the art work was amazing the story behind this whole thing, I was enthralled from the beginning and kept wanting more. The emotion that was felt not only in your voice but the others as well. Amazing work, oh and the music captured the entirety of the film the whole way through. It was all beautiful milord and were so incredibly proud of you. ❤

That was so beautiful. Everything about it was beautiful, the music, the acting, the art, all beautiful.
My favorite part, and the part that truly broke me, was when we were in the castle. The music, the anger and sorrow in every stoke of the violin, seeing everything that happened that day in the castle, the pain in your voice Vox when Jiro came near, it was so beautiful and painful. The sweet moments were so precious, the sad moments were heartbreaking, this was so well done. And the song at the end, god everything was just so amazing.
This is why you're my oshi, because everything you create, your stories and content are so amazing and creative, it's unbelievable. I'm so honored to be a kindred, and to be able to watch this when it came out.
