Song, PINK MOON starts out sounding very, very much like a typical DONOVAN song. Seriously, if I was told that this was DONOVANS very 1st lost recording, before he changed his name to DONOVAN, I would have bought it, hook, line, and sinker !!! 95 % of the music on your site is known to me, if not always the songs, the artist is. the sound tracks of my 70 years of musical discoveries.and knowing that you and I were both born in 1954 it's clear to me the reason why. ( My Brother from another Mother ! ) Each album is like a page from a journal or diary entry. I could reach into my racks of records blindfolded and pull out a handful of vinyl, drop the scratchy needle into the groove, and instantly tell you the season, the year, the lover, and my impressions of the world 🌎 at the time 1st time I heard it. And quite often, even changed those impressions in the short time it took for me to flip it over to side B . I can only give you my heart felt thanks, for bringing to my life a few of those missed artists, that somehow slipped through my fingers as I searched for a meaning to my life. I have often wondered, what kind of person would I be without all the influences that I received, like manna from heaven from the lyrics of the music of my life time. I really don't know, if I would like that person ? But thanks to all those musical dreamers and people like you, who keep those dreams alive, I don't have to worry about who I've become and any malfunction of my moral compass 🧭 you see my friend, just by posting an unknown artist, you've made me express the feelings that I hope those artists were trying to impress in me. Thank you so much !!! Keep on, keeping on, after all, I believe , it's really all we can do.
The song, Road , I thought I was listening to DONOVAN. Also , the same with, WHICH WILL. Sorry to say, as Kool and informed as I believed myself to be about music, I've never heard of this guy. It's kinda like listening to DONOVAN, before he became DONOVAN. His finger picking and chords, even 9:24 😅 his vocals , are right out of the DONOVAN play book. And of course I love DONOVAN and whoever this guy is !!! Lol
I did not discover Nick Drake until 2001 when I heard two of his songs, Black Eyed Dog & Northern Sky, on the soundtrack of the movie Serendipity. I will try to upload, Five Leaves Left (1969), Bryter Layter (1971) & after his passing, Time of No Reply (1987) at a later date.
@@54music2 Thanks alot !!! Now you have me pinning Kate Beckinsale, I thought I was over her ! Now I'll have to go crawling back to her, on my hands and knees and revisit all the UNDERWORLD'S on late, late PIZZA PEPSI NIGHTS. I love the movie SERENDIPITY !!! guess I was paying too much attention to KATE then the sound track, the 50 times I watched it ! and I LOVE soundtracks !!! Sometimes I watch a movie and think, they really should have used this or that song in this movie ! And like you, I've come across music I've never heard before. I love movies just as much as I love music ! TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, GUNDHI, just to name 2 of my favorites. Thanks for the heads up ! I will rewatch that movie in the next few days, with my ears and not my eyes this time. But I'm not making any promises, after all it is KATE BECKINSALE !!! LOL

Were you speaking of John Sebastian?
I don't understand the question.
