- Gold Coast Show 2023! Rides, Attractions & more! Join us as we visit the Gold Coast Show for the first time on its first day in 2023! We check out all the rides, walk around the event, enjoy some ambience & much more!
The show is similar to the Ekka up at Brisbane, with rides, shows, events, stalls, food, agriculture and lots more!
"The annual three day Gold Coast Show is a community-driven celebration of the agricultural history and diverse modern culture of Queensland’s second largest city. The event attracts over 120,000 visitors who come to enjoy the mix of city and country competitions, demonstrations and displays, free live entertainment, carnival atmosphere, rides and our famous fireworks.
The Show is generally held around the last week of August/first week of September over a Friday Saturday and Sunday. The Friday is a gazetted public holiday throughout the City and is known as ‘Peoples Day’." - Gold Coast Show Website

the coaster on that VR ride is actually the promotional image for Galactica at Alton Towers but its actually Vekoma track which they tend to use in their promotional images 🤣
Aussie funfairs look great its a bit of a mix of European and American funfairs!
Thank you! haha, I didn't expect it to be a Vekoma-fied Galactica! How random! I've been impressed with the last two big Aussies fairs! I'd love to experience some of the intentional ones someday, like Hyde Park Winter Wonderland.

At 12:37 that fun house is normally at Ekka every year. I was pretty surprised when wasn’t there this year (It’s normally place across from the tea cup ride). Btw amazing video like always

Fair rides are hit or miss when it comes to risks, 😅 lucky Australia has strict laws.
Aussies fairs seem a lot safer than certain other countries, that's for sure
