- Here are the chords for the evergreen Ilayaraja classic, Ilaya Nila Pozhigirathe. I have indicated the names of chords on-screen over the musical section that appears for the first time in the song & not during when it's repeated. The video got truncated right at the very end, however, the chords over that section are just repeats of what has been played earlier in the song.

Thank you 🙂My guess is 2 guitars: the chords are played on an electric guitar with clean chorus settings. And all the guitar pieces have been played with a pick/plectrum on a nylon string guitar 🎸🎸

Prasad, the home key of this song is in C#minor.
Towards the end of the 2nd BGM/Inerlude the 1st string is played as an open string note twice - this can be played only if the scale is in C#minor.
I have noticed lot of people playing this song in D minor, however, the open string note can't be played if it's played in D minor
