I think Mario needs another buff
Brengie Animations and Art I feel like Mario can use a buff to his up tilt. It needs more horizontal range. After that’s, be basically perfect!

Just make his forward air have the range of half the stage and he'll move up one spot in the tier list, it's all good

It's always nice to see a nice vid of my main. It wasn't the most optimized Mario I've seen, but I always LOVE to see people landing those ballsy F-airs where if they miss they lose a stock or the game. Those are the hardest reads you can get.

The new Mario bros game is great but it was kinda weird that instead of a bowser boss fight it was just mario laddering him to the blast zone for 3 minutes

Nah, most of what he did was true. Just sometimes he purposefully did nothing in the middle to catch a buffered air dodge for more value out of the mix up and/or combo.

I like Mario as my main one. I still wish I could do a combo like that with the Forward Aerial part.
Sadly enough, NintenDan never did a TRUE combo into forward air, just mix ups and reads. True combos into forward air (mostly) consist of landing a falling up air when close to the ground, then short/ full hopping a forward air following their DI. It generally works at ranges of 35% to 80% depending on the character.

Dennis xm No they're really not true, most of the uair strings aren't combos and the opponent could have airdodged, jumped, or DI'd out. Same with all the Fair dunks, not a single one is true. Hype, but not true. The only thing that confirms into fair is uair, and I didn't see any uair fairs in this video.

fullysemiautomatic Up air strings are true if you rise with them consistently or if you fast fall to a platform to extend it, which is rare.
He is probably playing a low lvl CPU
