very good I loved this video on my setup and tools of the trade.
Excellent video, thanks and agree with you about the HW100, just a very easy rifle to shoot well.Looking forward to more videos.
James I am here in the States, can you give me some insight as to what should be my first direction if I was to try and get started doing your kind of business?? Thanks Randy
umm, honest answer i'm not entirely sure as i don't know how things work in the states. i'm guessing get any relevant insurances, qualifications etc before doing anything. maybe look for a pest control firm thats hiring and see what they have to offer... if you work it out though, let me know, always fancied a trip to the states! james
Good video .. marks out of 10 for a hw100 ikt carbine in 22 with photon 6x50 scope I use for ratting lol ?
Is pest control good to get into? Think I’d love to work doing what I love and getting paid for it.
It is if you realise and appreciate theres far more to pest control than just using a rifle. The amount of information you need to know, from legislation, vertebrates, invertebrates etc is quite something. Often it’ll be commercial too, not always rural. Its very different doing an aspect of pest control and doing pest control fully in a professional capacity. James
Nice interesting video thanks James
Hello. the HW 100 is a great gun but I wish it have a power reg. and more important , a bigger air cylinder for us who are not power regulated ! We in Norway can´t hunt with air guns :((( but I use air rifles for long distance practice on range . Thanks for the vid and you do a review on the HW 100 please !!
if you check out my videos you'll see a full review of the HW100. thanks! james
Nice vid what calibre are your rifles
.177 mostly. The impact can however be swapped to .22 as and when i need to though.
cracking vid as always mate, enjoy watching them, if ever you grow the business and start to take on staff call me the wifes from cornwall and i would pack in my job and move down to cornwall, she would be happy close to family and i would also, doing something that i love. LOL regards paul
PS have a good look at the Pard 008 NV with built in range finder
Marks out of ten for the bsa th ?
@@ReplicaReviews why not ten out of ten for the bsa r10 th whats the faults buddy ?
I bet you love your job, and you're obviously making it pay too :)
I certainly do! I’m very fortunate to be in a position where i get to do it for a living.
How you get paid to shoot when there is people lined up around the block to shoot for free is beyond me.
Access to land in England is a NIGHTMARE. Unless you're privileged with land in the family, or freinds land, or work on an estate, then you'll be lucky as it gets to find decent land for no charge!! Let alone being paid to do it lol
See this is where people seem to forget there’s two side to pest control: rural and then also commercial. Rural wise, yes land is hard to come by, but personally i’ve never been turned away - all the land ive picked up has been off the back of the work i’ve done on the previous. Word of mouth goes a hell of a long way. Then there’s commercial pest control: this is where the money is, companies don’t just want anyone coming in and doing the work, they want professionals that have qualifications and are regulated - accountability plays a massive part in this sector. Its also important to remember there’s a hell of a lot more to pest control than just using guns. It’s a complex service to provide and there’s a huge amount of information to be learnt. The amount of times i hear “my terrier could do a better job” (or similar) is unreal - if that was the case i wouldn’t be in a job, just like the rest of the industry 😂
Obviously pest control around commercial premises, feral pigeons, rats etc.
Bought a Fx impact mk2 last week. Absolutely blown away with its build quality and the way everything works impeccably. What bi pod would you recommend for it please.
I just run an atlas on mine, but most 20mm mounting bipods should fit. James
