Sheffield OB are the biggest cunts in policing. Too many stories of shit they've pulled down there. Not sure what caused them to be such bastards with us? lol
That copper said that football has changed cos its all about winning nowadays. WTF ? That's always been the aim of the game, winning. No wonder the hooligans were always out witting the coppers.
Nothing more annoying than been lectured to by a South Yorkshire Police Officer, may have been better employed getting there own house in order, only one group of people featured in this film that's killed football fans and that's those in uniform. Justice for the 96. MOT.
Throwing people out of the ground for swearing!! I’ve never heard anything so stupid!! That can’t be right surely?? They’d be throwing thousands of fans out every game!!!
My best mate got snatched out of the back left of the Leeds kop in about 86/87 by loads of OB who came in via the back. Coppers hats flying everywhere and a few got smacked (it was still standing, and it was the 'nutter' part of the Kop then. Anyway, he actually got done for Breach of the peace ffs. We were playing Birmingham City, and he said the prosecutor quoted him in court as shouting "Fuck off City" numerous times. He said he pissed himself hearing the geezer saying it in a posh voice in court lol. The old bill didn't try anymore sneaky snatch squads after that. A fair few must have had a bit of difficulty eating their breakfast the next day. Must admit they had some fucking balls to do that to be fair to em. RIP Tim lad. ALAW.
@@mrnobody4237 I’m not surprised!! What did they expect?? I love watching the Millwall documentary from the 70’s and hearing the posh narrator saying “ old bill “!! Getting thrown out for swearing, it’s not tiddlywinks!!!
Think I was the middle of all that@@mrnobody4237asked some lad if he was ok after getting hit by a copper Leeds surrounded those coppers so they made a sharp exit getting hissed at mad days in the kop
It was just a lull. It was still going on but it wasn't largely reported like it was in the mid 80's. A lot of trouble occurred miles away from the grounds and was more organised. It still goes on today and I think it will never stop, to some people it's like a drug
+denzil4 sorry first post ignore, but yeah, I agree there, just good to have input like that, just what I was hearing back then, 'long time ago' lol cheers bro.
I did reduce violence a bit but it didn't stop it. England's success at Italia 90 meant that suddenly people wanted "good" football news so there was a bit of media motivation to focus away from hooliganism. Plus yes a lot of hooligans were off their faces on disco biscuits so wanted to cuddle each other instead of smashing each other's heads in. That lasted until about 1992.
Leeds got done by zulus in 85. Leeds smashed up a refreshment stand but all the pitch invasions and fighting with the police was the zulu's. Leeds stood in the stands and watched on.
@@paulbarrett22 I was there from beginning to end. In Birmingham city centre before hand and afterwards. Leeds fan was stabbed when coach stopped off at pub (yew tree).
@@SuperLeonjones you obviously wasnt the police video contradicts your version of events on the pitch ..both mobs were game as fk and on the pitch ...a leeds fan also ate a bacon sandwich on the m1 south at 10am same day ..i wasnt there but i relay stories about to pretend i was
@@paulbarrett22 so you wasnt there, wind your neck in then. Look at the video again this time with your specs on. The pitch invasions came from the railway stand mainly which was blues. A few Leeds fans got on but not many.
@@SuperLeonjones Leeds fans had already done the damage before HT and after with most of the seats ripped out, Leeds had mobs all over Birmingham from early morning Birmingham came to Leeds same season and only filled one pen on the lowfields 800-1,000.

Swearing at a football game ?, people don't expect that kind of thing at football, someone could be seriously offended
They don't make em like that old lady any more.
Salt of the earth the old girl
1981 First game od the season and Leeds fans invaded Swansea. Absolute carnage. Great days.
