In the end, it all ends back with ruan mei. She is the one true break support and here she is creating a beast to pair up with her
Its so funny since Ruan Mei was suppost to be a DoT support but she ended up being mostly break.

She was always a generalist support who had some use with breaking.
Yeah. Superbreak needed a RM upgrade/sidegrade. Not HMC. Everyone has HMC and it's amazing that they're usable and damn good in their role.
@@JohnDoe-si4eg ruan mei has a lot of buffs which has nothing to do with break though. damage buff for example. one or 2 of her eidolons do not improve anything for break also. but all the buffs she gives work for dot.

I wanna try a no sustain team with htb, firefly, ruan mei and fugue.
Just until the next tb form comes out, could be a fun risk reward playstile
theres not even any risk in it ngl. this moc u can run ff/htb/rm and himeko and 0 cycle it exo toughness is insanely broken
All this game needs is a Harmony/Nihility Prototype Amber, Imagine Firefly + Fugue + HMC + Ruan Mei with a team healing Light Cone, the effect doesn't even need to be that high it would still make this sustainless team a dream team.
I genuinely don't understand why she's a Nihility unit, she's straight up a Harmony unit.
But because she's a Nihility unit for genuinely no reason, I'm plopping her down into my Acheron team cuz fuck it lmao, she has a debuff it counts

If you think of it, it's clearly intentional so you cant run DDD or Coggers on her.
She is Nihility cos she adds Exo-Toughness to enemies, it's the ultimate debuff for break teams.

Tbh, if you have Boothill, you could use Fugue with him.
So far i see her more of an Sidegrade to HMC than an Upgrade. We need real Numbers to see if a second Weakness Break is really worth it. So far she gives less Super Break than HMC on multiple Targets, HMCs Delay on broken Enemies is longer AND she gives a ton less BE to the Entire Team which overall drastically decreases Teams dmg especially for people who might have an Lingsha.
Currently i would rather kick my Lingsha and go Sustainless than switching her with HMC
she can replace Ruan mei in boothill team at e1 so you can effectivly play 2 non scuffed superbreak teams now with firefly and boothll on each side.
Yeah, it's the only reason i'm pulling for her, so she can enable super break on a second team.
She doesn't increase break efficiency which is what boothill wants but she can let boothill superbreak for double his damage.

Basically an insurance character for our Break teams, especially with E1, as new mobs - like Hoolay - will have a shit ton of toughness going forward, not to mention Trailblazer will be getting a switch to a new path in 3.x - love how long HMC lasted btw, and it's not like they suddenly become bad, Harmony Rail ftw- so an enticing replacement must be made.

honestly with her ult cost atm I feel like E1 is the really important eidolon. Even with the extra energy from E2 I can't imagine the DDD procs to be consistent enough to be worth outside of certain 0 cycle setups. It's still a really nice buff, but comparatively i dont think fugue will even feel complete without E1, weakness break efficiency is just that good.
Funnily enough with E1 I think you can really comfortably run two break teams now - ruan mei/harmony tb for firefly/rappa then E1 fugue/bronya for boothill will be great.
All my saving since FF has been worth it. I'm at 100 pulls with guarantee.
I'll be able to snag her and Sunday and should be ready for the 3.x/Fate patch. Sunday may be a secret support for whoever we get for the crossover.
depending on the reruns with her it will either be all about her (and Sunday at his rerun) or both...I'll need a lot of luck during this 2.7 on my pull lol 😅😢

I guess you can get E1 Fugue to get that 50% Break efficiency that RM has.
@@apleb7605 In superbreak teams the whole teams' toughness reduction matters, Fugue E1 only buffs one character, without Ruan Mei's entire team buff, your Fugue's and gallaghar/Lingsha's dmg and the speed at which they break toughness for your carry will plummet ANNND you don't have Ruan Mei's ult's Weakness Break recovery prevention... just don't play superbreak at that point.
@@blazikenfury8852 Yes, Ruan Mei's weakness break stall + speed buff + toughness reduction are all good for MAX potential, but honestly, at least currently, superbreak teams can do fine without RM using Himeko as a sub dps or using new M7 depending on content. Superbreak stacks so you could even use HTB and Fugue together. Yes, RM is better, but you will still easily clear content with the others.
Did Fugue lose her super break damage addition? It seems like she only deals 1 instance of super break damage when her eco toughness is broken now
I won't be giving her tutorial LC as it is being used by SW...and definitely not pulling for 5star LC

Hmm.. wonder if effect hit rate will be a effective stat for her. BE, speed of course but I tried to save the EHR body parts of calvery in anticipation for Fugue.
You need 60% EHR to guarantee her Debuff. So you either use Tutorial LC which also helps your ER or you go EHR Chest. Thats literally all you need.

it was working fine with ff ,break himeko, hmc and gallagher (lingsha coming and it become lot better)
With E1 sure, not quite as good as Ruan Mei, whi does more than just buff efficiency, but another instance of Super Break might compensate for the lack of RES-PEN and other stuff.
I have firefly, Ruan Mei both e0 but will it still be worth it to get Fuegue also my apologies

I mean she cant give dot. But her colorless ult could break mobs thus giving them dot
Well, Solitary Healing on S5 gives 40% BE and the largely useless DoT buff.
Her signature LC at S1 is apparently going to give 60% BE, plus whenever an enemy gets weakness broken it gets a debuff that increases break damage taken by 20% for 2 turns, this debuff stacking twice.
So the free LC is at least passable, but her sig LC is going to be a big upgrade.

I don't really like her sig lc because it is boring. Sure it is dps upgrade cause you get 40% break dmg. But straight up dmg is just plain boring. Give like spd or perhaps energy generation then i feel like worth spending money for that

@@hazeclarke1938 I mean... Fugue is a damage support character, it makes little sense to expect anything else from her.
I don't see speed or energy regen having much value to her. Speed? Okay, she uses buffs so it'd be nice to have her go before your dps, but she's not like Sparkle or Bronya where her value is directly tied to her speed. As for energy regen, Fugue's ult doesn't fill an essential role in her kit, it's just an extra rainbow break attack, making sure it charge a tiny bit faster is frankly unimportant.
Fugue specifically exists to make Firefly/Rappa/Boothill hit harder, that's it. If you don't like damage buffing characters I'd say pull for Sunday instead, his kit is entirely oriented towards what you've said you consider interesting (he's all about action advance and energy regen).
@DarkFenix2k5 on second thought i think fugue lc is great just because the base 20% break dmg increase is bigger than lingsha lc which is 18%. Furthermore it can stack, so more value

Oh well, she's a skippa for sure. You can't use her in Firefly teams because that team is pretty much set. Maybe Boothill, but even there, Bronya with 100% action advance is way better.

Fugue favors a DPS so shes most likely gonna rerunned with either Boothill or Firefly.
ruan mei rerunned with firefly in 2.3, so of course she isnt gonna rerun again

Her E2 has a Build in S5 DDD xD. So far i really wait for the Calcs bc by the numbers alone she is much worse than HMC. Way less Team BE, lesser Turn Delay and less Superbreak on multiple Targets. Only Benefit she brings is Exo Bar and 20% Def Shred for the DPS.
@DantoriusD I think there is a case where she doesn't replace hmc, but the Gallagher/lingsha instead. Basically a no sustain comp, which is fine since people are doing it anyways. You delay them with Ruan Mei and fugue delay, firefly sustains herself, the damage is insane, etc. I think that may be the play.

@@Songbird905the Only Bonus she brings to an Acheron Team is the fact that she is nihility but thats literally all. She doesnt provide any Buffs for Acheron unless you wanna build Breakeron 😂.

@@xshinra but Def Shred only gets better the more you Stack. So your only Option is Pela or Silverwolf as 2nd Nihility. Otherwise even a Guinaifen is way better.

You still can use her with Acheron since the 18% defence shred is a pretty good debuff and technically BE helps any team except for Yunli/Clara by stalling enemy turns. You might even give her Pears of sweat to stack the defence shred.

She's Nihility and has a debuff, so technically, she's perfectly fine to run in a team with Acheron, and honestly I think it's the only reason why she was chosen as Nihility instead of Harmony despite having a Harmony kit lmao
