I bought this game December 20 and I have played on and off since then. I am already a protector for the Haerdean I made a good decision I would say to build near this Village because you can start getting rid of bandit camps that are not to hard there and when you get raided they will not often destroy you hehe. I really hate that my people constantly complain about food and run away because it seems they can't feed themselfs. hehe. I now try to get berries,mushroom and store them so they can easily access food...But often especially when we try to destroy bandit camps you need to have a lot of food on you because you can be sure they will start complaining on the way hehe..like small children hehe
Can anyone tell me how the hell i get wheat!? i've been into the field here, but i'm not getting any white dots to pick it up, it's just been a lovely mad dash through the field..lol
Yes the wheat field is the best for starting, thou there are herbalists that sell the wheat seeds to grow and you can make seeds from the wheat in the thrasher.
You seem to be about on the normal timeframe for building the village hall. I'm on Day 18 i think and building it. That being said, you seem to be really short on villagers. I'm up to 12 myself on day 18. My recommendation would be to focus more on your quests during the day and only worry about personal gathering at night or when you reach a point in your quests that you cant do anything. Also, if you are really low on a material that is gatherable like Hemp, Wood, Stone, Flax, Copper, Tin, etc don't be afraid to gather your entire army and use the E button to highlight a material and have them fill up their bags on it.
Yes using the army to gather is something I did forget about thanks. Over the next few Episodes I will try and grown the pop of my settlement. Thanks for watching

If the food thing becomes an issue just turn the setting down a bit in settings. You can adjust most settings to your game style

Hey you can access your research and other stuffs from almost anywhere just go to buildings section select research desk and start a research.

thanks for the video. How are you able to hold 120 arrows in one quiver. Also how did you create a road to the village hall?
I am using a mod for expanded storage, base stored is to small IMO. You can research roads and them build them with mud
