Great demo, beautiful foils. I was watching Jennifer’s video, she might be the card queen, but on foiling, girl you’re still wearing the crown. Enjoy your visit to our state. T4s
Excellent demonstration. Beautiful array of foils. I'm new to foiling and I started with a laminating machine and just got a hot foil machine. I tried to foil velum with toner, did not work out. This was soooo helpful. Thank you.
Great video. Now I have to get out my toner foils and start making more cards. Hot foil machine to be put away for now. Can not wait for the new Kitchen Sink release - love the poppies. Thanks for sharing
HI Nancy,👸 I am so sorry I have only just had time to look & reply to your tutorial WOW loved your tutorial from start to finish 👍 awesome cards everything was awesome loved when you put the foil On the tape the blue foil looked WOW with the gold Nancy love u love your tutorials as always 👍❤️✨ Lin
There was a lot I loved about this video - that flag is the first thing that comes to mind, I'm not on a spending freeze but I was hoping to slow down. I'll be grabbing that on Monday! I picked up some graphix to try for stencils as the stencil plastic I got initially is way too flimsy for me. I think you should totally keep your slimline Halloween card for yourself, I could hear the joy in your voice, and the wistfulness of freely crafting. I'm not sure what you'll do on your off time in Bowling Green but at least it won't be as hot as when you guys went to Disney.
I’m in Australia and I’m wanting to make my own wedding invites and foil them, but was hoping to use pearlescent. Do you have any knowledge about a particular brand that’s good that I can source in aus? Also want a non pearlescent too but coloured. I’m just starting out in the toner foil world hehe
Question: Crafty Critta seems to have two types of foil: textile and craft. Do you recommend the textile version over the craft version? I'm assuming their craft foil is thinner and comparable to deco foil, etc., such as you've described in other videos. Thank you. Great video!
Either one is fine for paper crafting. But yes the textile foils are a little thicker and easier to cut. But some of the paper craft designs are fabulous.
@@NancyStamps Thank you for the quick response! Yes, that blue one is why I asked - beautiful. I'll be placing an order soon, Again thanks for all the great info, Now on to my Nancy Stamps binging.
Careful, à Minc bought in US is for 110v when we are in Europe under 220v so if an electric machine is bought in US you will have to buy an electric transformer to use it. Transformer may be expensive in such type of machine. Don’t ask me how I know but I do. 😊
So I need help, I'm struggling with a question if I inked up an image with toner ink ( from a water pen) then put foil on some but not the rest would it ruin the blank toner? So I couldn't put another color down & remelt it....

Can you please explain how you cut the 12” rolls of foil in half? My husband is willing to do this for me, but neither of us know how to do this without messing up the foil.
Thank you Nancy. You are not only informative, you are so much fun to watch. Have a safe trip. Hugs and blessings.
Great toner foiling video. You are the best in explaining anything about foiling, both toner and hot foiling. Thanks, Nancy.

Hello from Gilbert, Arizona.
Hope you will do more Q&A videos!
Thank you

Love all the foils you showed here. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
So sad that it hard to find here in The Netherlands, Europe.
Here we only have the plain toner foils. 🥲
I bought them from Crafty Critta and I got them in 2 weeks in France.
@@anne-mariegaglio1461 Thank you, I already bookmarked them just in case.

Dam I literally just made a small order with crafty critta for the textile foil you recommended. Didn’t think about toner paper
You will have to buy and try papers.

Yes they have to buy the right voltage.
What printer do you use for your toner printing? I got an inexpensive HP and it does ok with 65lb card stock but can’t handle the 110lb…..

U have foils for tshirts which ones are good 👍
Textile foils I showed
Do they ever have sales on carrier sheets?
No. Carrier sheets are fairly inexpensive. You can find them on Scrapbook.com, pink & main (Use Nancy24 for 10% off) and Gina K.

That’s the thing with foil…. Plastic. I hate that sound. Excellent video. Thank You.

Chop saw
@@NancyStamps but do you have to do anything special to the foil? It doesn’t mess up the ends? Just use a chop saw and cut in half?
No copy companies in North Texas that use laser printers. All have gone to ink jet
Usually most are laser because toner is cheaper in high volume printing.
if I get foil on my clear sheet, will it hurt the next foiling job I do?
No. You can clean the transfer sheet with a magic clean eraser or some acetone (nail polish remover)
Does cutting the roll with a chop saw chew up the edges of the foil?
Nancy mentioned you need to tape where you are going to cut and then cut through the tape.
Slightly, the rolls are bigger than 12" so it doesn't hurt it.
can do this on faux leather?
Hot foil yes, not toner foiling
OMG I am so upset because I thought I had gotten the Kitchen Sink Butterfly stamp from Stamptember , but it did not go through! talk about bummed out
Sorry to hear Starr. Maybe you will win the extra from me.
