I am not really a heavy metal fan at all but their album "Paranoid" is, in my opinion, one of the greatest albums of all time. Every track is a banger. I'd request "Planet Caravan" off of "Paranoid" for something a little more trippy. You would want to be high while listening to it for sure
@@21Piloteer Most the what he is singing is gibberish, with some of the actual lyrics from the album tossed in here and there. More than likely he just never remembered the lyrics or didn't rehearse it and hoping everyone is to high to notice. Album is only a few months old so most wouldn't know the lyrics that well especially to a non hit song.
Always intrigued me how often Ozzy sings different lyrics live compared to those on the LP. This version of Hand Of Doom is a classic example. Sabbath have been one of my top 3 bands for well over 40 years (FYI the other 2 are Jethro Tull & Van Der Graaf Generator).
I heard this back in 1979, I was 9, and been a fan since! Now, I have hours and hours of Black Sabbath !!! WOW, he plays the bass the same way Leo Lyons from Ten Years After plays the bass !!
Great reaction. 👏 It's so nice to see you react to another one of my favourite bands. They are fantastic together. Tony is just amazing, in every song he delivers several great riffs, solos and changes that could easily equate to a few different songs. The Riff Master, for sure.
I remember hearing them , hanging out with Friends in the park . Black Sabbath warped my brain man . In a good way, I got it , it was talking to my soul.
GREAT GREAT REACTIONS MAN…. BEEN ROCKIN THIS FROM DAY ONE. THIS WAS THE THIRD ALBUM THAT I BOUGHT. COSMOS FACTORY N GRAND FUNK LIVE WERE THE FIRST TWO. ROCK ON 👊🖖
Great anti-drug song and a banger from an album full of them. My parents hated this song and album! That was true of all my friends, no matter where we were, put on one of the first 3 albums and a loud entrance from a pissed parent ensued. How wrong their generation was about Rock Music in general but especially anything heavy in those days. Funny how they only got greater over time! Modern listeners love them as much as we did. More Sabbath! Do Electric Funeral from the same album, more greatness and enjoy! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶🔥
The best Black Sabbath tune with Ozzie: "Dirty Women". The best Black Sabbath tune withOUT Ozzie: "Heaven and Hell". Do 'em both, Lee! Studio tracks only, please. 😂 There are some live videos of "Dirty Women" that would not be, uh, "channel-friendly" for you, chicks in the audience losing their shirts, ya know? 🥰
Ozzy just sang the melody most of the time, just sometimes with words mixed that really didn't make sense as demostrated at parts of this live performance. And Geezer would write lyrics to those vocal medodies that Ozzy put down, when the instrumental part of the songs where being written.
There is some "conjecture" as to whether this is "Live in Paris" or "Live in The Paris Theatre, Brussels (Belgium)". To be honest, who cares! It's Sabbath live and as the top comment says, it's glorious.
Live Sabbath. Glorious
oh man is it glorious or what... it's like poetry in motion.

paranoid is easily one of the best! it kick started SO many other bands down the line... and it fuckin' rocks
Their first album and paranoid back to back are both unbelievable
@@jr13227 I'm going to need to listen to the first one
@@akadros310OMG! My favorite album of all time! Better than Paranoid.
Bill Ward = Beast Mode
More Sabbath!! Yes 🎉
Tony Iommi ❤❤❤
Master of Riffs
They were so freakin good live. An ace jammin band. Love it. Keep up with Sabbath Lee- it's all good.
Classic! I was 16 again!
At age 14 I loved the Blues, by age 15 I loved metal as well thanks to Black Sabbath.
Pre-release of Paranoid album....different lyrics here and in War Pigs as well during the concert.
Paranoid was released in September 1970. This show is from December 1970. Ozzy still singing different lyrics. Who knows why.
