I had something like that in mind when i first wrote my comment actually, because there is so many fan-based "top 10 metal singers"-videos whose creators never even heard of Matt Barlow! This band deserves more attention!

yeah dude...that one scream is like.. cant describe it but when I was young and just bought the record, heard it for the first time I nearly cried and I still feel the same way, today.
@BlackReaperMetal he is singing no doubt,, its just that the video and sound is out of synd MANY times through out the video.. first I thought it was an error in the mic or something,, but if you look closely the camera view changes and then goes back so they actually choose the wrong clip to go back to... poor editing but LEGENDARY vocals.. this is Barlow, trust me! ^^ btw Im gonna do a vocal cover of this song in a few days,, lets see if I can pull it off.. that High A is power and beyond ;)
@kspol4 Sure, Schaffer is the one that writes all those great songs, but without someone who can actually deliver the emotions and messages of those songs with its voice, you won't have Iced Earth. Just a guy with some pieces of paper full of lyrics. I mean there are many great singers out there but Barlows voice just matches the idea of Iced Earth and Schaffers lyrics the best. Its not only the song writter but the whole band that matters.

i doubt there is any sort of "official" top 10 list, and even if there was, it would still be totally subjective. Matt Barlow, and Bruce Dickinson are THE best metal singers IMO.
I'm like the only one of my friends who likes this band and thinks they one of the BEST around...I also think Barlow has the best voice in metal, but everyone thinks JAMES HETFIELD is better ahaha I love this band, they rank among my favorite bands :]
