I was so hyped when they said we could double sleeve. The sealable inner sleeves are one of my favorite TCG products on the market, as well as the standard Japanese Size purple sleeves.
@@PUTLEADINURHEAD Konami is just weird like that. They tend to have weird holdups and are stubborn. My opinion is probably that they believed double sleeving would lead to marked cards (i.e. you double sleeve some cards, different inner sleeve placement, etc.)
Komoney allowed double sleeving after the latest gold sets cause the new gold rares are actually thicker than regular cards so in order for people not to get dqed at tourneys they said fck it double sleeving is allowed LOL
What I love about Dragon Shield is that they really make the cards pop. I put some Dragon Shields on my secret rare cards and they look beautiful in the sleeve.
Dang, I literally just ordered my new sleeves last night, wish I had waited another day 😂 I also hardcore cannot recommend DS’s sleeves enough, their matte duals are my favorite product for sleeving my cards!! I live for the orchid pink ones
I personally started using the inner sleeves. They are SO GOOD. I like in a country that regularly gets around 38°C (100°F) and my cards don't warp (I mean they kinda still do a little) as bad as just leaving a card on a sleeve without the sleeve. I greatly recommend them!
Absolutely love Dragon Shield sleeves! When I first got back into yugioh I bought the old Ultra Pro sleeves from Walmart since that’s all I really knew from my child hood and was told to buy some DS. Me thinking “how different can a sleeve be” so I bought a pack of the DS Dynasty art sleeves and BOI the difference is REAL. Now I’m setting on multiple packs just waiting to be filled. Solid video guys.
i once was a fan of different colours for different decks to go with the theme. but don't have like 21 of every single staple and i got annoey having to switch sleeves. now everything is in one colour, it's better
As someone who came back to YGO I am glad I got Japanese purple shields. I’ve played Pokémon, Magic The Gathering, and Yu Gi Oh and it feels great to be a TCG fnatic! These dragonshields looks amazing though, sadly I’ve already sleeved my Danger Dark World deck, but perhaps I could build a stronger deck and make an excuse to buy more sleeves 😁😂😂
I saw those sweet gloss sleeves in your GX Tournament video, and I kinda wanna try them 😅. Also, I’d love to see a deckbox tier list or something of the sort!
I really want some APS merch because they always put out awesome designs but living in the UK and dealing with import fee’s is a sickner when you pay an extra £20-30 on top of your order
I'm pretty sure the deck boxes are a new product my locals got two weeks ago and the owner said they were new, I ended up buying two of them (the red one and the black one) and so far no complaints 👍
For decks I'm personally very fond of KMC Hyper Mats but Dragon Shield is honestly just as good! I have a set of Matte Black Dragon Shields on my Goat Format deck that was on my main deck from 2017 that I used every weekend and they're still good somehow. Also fun hack for oversleeves! Get the Standard Size Clear (Matte or Regular I prefer Matte) for your extra deck sleeves with art! It's around the same price as the Japanese Size Outer Sleeves and you get 40 more!
man, I love dragon shield. I bought some Deck Pro purple metallic sleeves and they are tighter than a salami wrapper. The Dragon Shield sleeves are just perfect.
I'm so used to buying Dragon Shield products catered to Commander (100 sleeves), I didn't even know they had anything else. Cool to see. I do wish they had art that wasn't just dragons. Doesn't really fit for anything but a dragons deck. Edit: sadly their 60 card sleeves are exclusively japanese sized (like for yugioh), so I can't use them for my 60 card mtg decks.
You know I'm surprised there's not a yellow, purple and orange and gold and silver color for the deck boxes with dragons on them. But maybe I'll later on time
what member helps Paul record these videos? IK if it’s one of the series like larry in the hole that person will help them but i’m not sure who helps on the videos for the side channel, I can recognize the voice but can’t figure it out. Alec?
has anyone had issues using the perfect sleeves for binder storage? Starting up my yugioh collection again and I can't tell if just using the perfect sleeves in a binder would damage them.
I got 4 boxes of dragonshield outer japanese clear sleeves, and one of the boxes was slightly smaller sleeves than the others and now they're all mixed up lol. I'm afraid to buy another one and they are the smaller cut.
Does these protect from UV light? I am very paranoid for my playing cards, i use them in tournament and i want them to be protected from UV. “Sorry for my poor English” “This channel motivated me to play Yu-Gi-Oh”
Also art sleeves have been historically bad because the art can flake off while you’re shuffling. This isn’t true for DS art sleeves (including the non-matte) bc the art is not produced as part of a separate layer of the sleeve.
They just aren't very durable in my experience often times, but that mostly depends on the brand. And they're definitely better as ED sleeves since less abuse. Giving them an outer sleeve makes them fine though in my experience.

Is there a reason why Konami was against double sleeving? To me it seems like an excellent way to keep particles away from the card itself.

I appreciate toy adding Fahrenheit
Thank you bro

🐉🛡 Dragon Shield knows how to make ‘em!
True

Do the art sleeves stick together? That's one of the things that turns me off of art sleeves.
That, and then being told you're cheating is annoying.

The DS Sealable Inners are definitely top of class. It's a fantastic product
Wish you would've released this yesterday. I bought some sleeves yesterday
I have a question, should you double sleeve if you plan to put a card in a toploader? Or is a pennysleeve enough
I'm still a fan of Dek Prot Sleeves...
Im not even butt kissing when I say I only use dragon shield.
And it's after trying everything else for fun, they're just a notch better.
The sealables are so good
Dragon sleeves are one of my favorite sleeves rn

Dragon shield has always been my go to sleeve
Open those boxes boy. Put the cards on the sleeves. Let's compare colors and look-and-feel.
has anyone had issues using the perfect sleeves for binder storage? Starting up my yugioh collection again and I can't tell if just using the perfect sleeves in a binder would damage them.
You guys are so lucky to get all that free dragon shield stuff y'all probably saved alot of money on sleeves after getting this lol
I got 4 boxes of dragonshield outer japanese clear sleeves, and one of the boxes was slightly smaller sleeves than the others and now they're all mixed up lol. I'm afraid to buy another one and they are the smaller cut.
Is there a difference in quality between the small and standard size?
DS is nice and all, can't argue with the quality, but their prices are almost double where I live.
Dragon Shield vs KMC vs Ultimate Guard. Go.
Does these protect from UV light? I am very paranoid for my playing cards, i use them in tournament and i want them to be protected from UV. “Sorry for my poor English”
“This channel motivated me to play Yu-Gi-Oh”
I just got some Hugo pink sleeves and they feel awesome I’m tryna find out they good on Pokémon
If my grandpa doesn't need sleeves neither do I !!
I just started coming back to yugioh and been using these a lot
I'm obssesd with sleeves and playmats a Little too much, and those Glossy ones ...🤤🤤👌👌I need them!!
Dragon shield are the sleeves to have for your cards
It says that it's 50% recycled materials. Otherwise it's yer bog standard HDPE.
Best sleeves ever!!!
The art sleeve smell like maple syrup
Funny you guys is what got me to try dragon shield and I love them thank you
Im so glad you decided to affiliate with Dragon Shield, they are the superior brand lol
Awesome! Love their sleeves!
dragon shield is the best hands down
Is the affiliate link only through dragon shield's site?
I love your guys' videos!
Where my Ixchel sleeves at?
Dragon shield is the best
as bad as the double sleeving video was it actually led me to using dragon shield
The Rise of Alec 4:28
HELLO PAUL FROM TEAM APS
Tried to watch the video, but got too distracted by the very, very loose-fitting hoodie Paul was wearing.
Should’ve edited in post, smh.
Are art sleeves bad?
They aren't good for the main deck, where you shuffle often, but on the ED? definitely.
They're OK but I would only used them for the extra deck not the main or side deck.
DragonShield does have matte art sleeves which are great for shuffling too, but I just personally prefer the solid color mattes
Also art sleeves have been historically bad because the art can flake off while you’re shuffling. This isn’t true for DS art sleeves (including the non-matte) bc the art is not produced as part of a separate layer of the sleeve.
