It's sad to see how differently people with money are treated and spoken to, compared to hardworking Gambians who are struggling to make a living. This difference in treatment reflects the state of our nation.

We all feel the pain for the vendors including Mr manneh himself but low is the force and this is the interest of this country and development steps.. when you go to development country's around the world the first thing that attract you is the roads, why are you resisting that for yourself?

@@RahquiehBryant341 Indeed, it is disheartening. I understand that progress often brings negative effects, but the government should implement measures to support those small businesses. This way, the youth won't feel compelled to resort to criminal activities and violence.
I blame the government are they doing this in the rich neighborhood no only the hard working people who you allowed to build on this land now you are destroying it no different than the colonizers
I agree with the lady about the negative impacts of these clearances, people are trying to earn an honest living, if their places are destroyed what will happen? Crime and violence will increase because poor people fed up
