Bonnie D. Owens I don't believe Kelly is guilty of what was accused in the documentary, and that they got him for racketeering is pretty damning when you're meant to be done for sexual abuse. He passed his polygraphs and none of the women were 'proven' to have ever been forcibly held against their will. He's a sex addict, and he's obviously abused his fame to sleep with endless women. However, I think this was a runaway train. Once that documentary came out no one could turn around and think 'what if they're lying?' What victim of sex trafficking voluntarily 'goes back' to their trafficker over and over and over, unless they were complicit in being willing to satisfy his odd kinks???? I'm sorry if you are being 'abused' by a star and get to chance endless times when you're gone to just never go back, and you still keep going back then this is wrong!

The allegations in the documentary also surprisingly came out 'after' Kelly was reduced from millions to thousands in wealth.
There needs to be a law that allows enablers to be sued and/or jail for their part. The record industry needs to also be liable.

Sad but a true statement. A young girl who told her story went too the police and DA too press charges when she finally 'Escaped R Kelly', was told she wasnt creditable and the case wasnt intresting. She said she felt like it was cause it was a "Black man doing this too black girls, so it wasnt worth their time." Ive always said, "I wonder if things would have been different, if he had done this too a variety of young girls and not just the black and brown ones?!"

This is a win for my communities young girls. My mother was molested@ 12ys old and a baby was the result of that dramatic event. Her life was not easy she never received counseling for her trauma. My mother is a baby boomer they never talk about such things. Asking for help in the BLK community for trauma was not exceptEd. I too suffered that same act against me by my OWN father at the age of 11 no baby thank goodness. I am Gen X. I did get counseling but not justice. The statute of limitations should be lifted. Victims of Child predators should be able to take these people to court at any age..

I used to live and work in Chicago from 1992-200.I was a live performance production manager. I would have nothing to do with R-Kelly or his staff. I was asked to travel to DC with his team to assist with a Wizards half-time performance. I turned it down although it would have given me a whole other platform for my job. I believed the rumors and did not want to involved with the R-Kelly enterprise on any level. I sleep well at night. All of his victims are in my prayers.

Just wanted to say that for a racketeering case, which are really hard to prosecute, this case went lightening fast. I didn't watch it, but there must have been some serious, overwhelming evidence. Seems to me there's a lot of people that should be prosecuted as well. Too many deals cut. He's going away for life, I believe.
