Beautiful job! Not only am I a professional hairstylist, I'm also a natutalista myself! For anyone to have a negative comment on this is almost insane. This is one of the problems with our people. We hate on each other and we self hate! "We" as is "them". What makes styles like this perfect IS the imperfections. Nothing is gonna be perfectly matched all the time. In fact, most of us have at least two different textures within our own head. Good job Diva!
Some people are just haters, this was beautiful to me! It looks like her real hair, especially in a ponytail. I'm so tired of kitchen beauticians saying negative things. Get a life!
+msofray +msofray I agree. I personally was intrigued by how she held the strands as she braided. But the issue is when you post a vid on YT and allow comments to be made or feedback you open your self up to good and bad. And if you desire to be a great YT guru we can't be so quick to call the negative feedback "hater". Lol. I personally didn't care for the finished blending results (it wouldn't work for ME) But hey keep doing you if your clients are happy GREAT! :-)😊. Have a wonderful day and thanks for sharing.
+msofray Yes, because if you don't agree with them YOU MUST BE A HATER! Really, no not really. Hater is a made up work for someone who merely disagrees with someone, and we don't allow anyone to disagree with ANYTHING we do or say or post on social media.
I must be a hater then, because I don't like the style, it just didn't look good to me. But biggups to her being up since 10....but she takes an "L" on this style. Just MY opinion
omg some of y'all are jus sooooo negative. and for what? This style looks great, the sew-in looks great, the extensions look great, and the customer looks flawless. I literally see nothing wrong with anything in this video. Just because you have different methods to how you do your hair or what products you use doesn't mean this particular method is bad. uugh eventually our people will just snap out of this negative mental state.
you know people are going to hate then turn around use her method then act like they have been doing it like that for years..... from start to finish she did a wonderful job .... she has a gift for this
Maestro I salute you. You did a heck of a job. To be working from 8am to 10pm? Wow. And the skill too! I don't think we do enough to really celebrate salon owners who have to run their business - the admin, the finance, the staff, building clientele etc - as well as being (literally) hands on in making women feel great about themselves - because that's what a great hairdo can do. Your client's hair looks so good.
It's looks beautiful most black people hair don't grow out there scalp bone straight we need to embrace our Hair texture Instead of frying our own hair to match sum Brazilian
I really like this hairstyle it takes the stress off your edges, while protecting your natural hair at the same time with low manipulation and making it look fuller while your real hair is in the process of growing. I want my hair like that
I'm sorry that looks real....people hate it cause its not that straight white woman plastic looking hair... I see black walking around with that straight plastic stuff...its embarrassing to me....this is flawless and natural
+msofray Most likely because black girls get the silky straight hair knowing damn well it doesn't blend with their texture (relaxed or natural, even when flat ironed) and it just looks a mess
+Donna Chesser That's not all black girls and y'all talking about "Support black people!" and "Black women need to support each other!" but that doesn't sound like support at all. Just cause their preferences are different from yours doesn't mean you are any better. If you are not helping them or teaching them how to style they're natural hair then shut up. Most girls have been through something to cause them not to like themselves or they just don't know how to work with their natural so they put it up and you say that's embarrassing? Your comment was embarrassing, rude and plain ignorant!
+Asia Maria you're not supporting Donna or teaching her or helping her, you're just hatin on her. Your comment was embarrassing and rude you need to shut up, UA-cam is a forum for opinions, even ones you don't agree with.
Idk why everybody is commenting saying how ugly it is when nobody has a better way too do it!! Me being natural I think its flawless.. & I love love love that its big & versatile! I have not found a stylist in my area who works that well with my natural hair so I avoid sew-ins but this is life too me especially that high ponytail.. Loved it!! & can't wait for my REAL hair too reach them levels..
Rapunzel Ready I'm not one of the ones commenting but just because someone expresses how they feel about something and in which case they don't like it, it doesn't mean they're hater, they just simply didn't like the results. We're all entitled to an opinion whether its positive or negative. You can't expect every feedback to be positive in any situation.
I'm actually impressed because you used no heat!!!!! You showed me I can use water in my hair, without being scared of shrinkage because it will blend very well. I love it.
First off, you stylists are always in beast mode. 8am til past 10pm and still going and probably will be back in again the next day. Y'all have my respect. *keeps watching video*
I watched this video when you premiered it YEARSSS ago! To rediscover it to then find out you’re the girl I’ve been following on IG with the fashion videos… I’m mind blow lol what aren’t you good at girl?! I can tell you just love being a creative ❤️
As a stylist myself, I would say that she did a great job with the install, but could have blended it better setting the natural hair and weave on cold wave rods or two strand twist and then separating them by hand. Constantly brushing the hair gives it a wave pattern, but destroys the curls and make them look frizzy. She did a good job though!
In place of the product used to slick her hair down you could have put moisturizer or water and made lil two strand twist with the leave out and pulled it with a diffuser to stretch it or just untwist it to match that curl pattern. I do the same with that hair and it blends perfectly.
+Oscha Poydras hey, i just installed this hair and I'm a "new natural". What is a diffuser? and What direction should I do the two strand twist if I have a side part?
+Marshaun Williams a diffuser is an attachment that goes on a blow dryer. The best way I can describe it is it looks like those lil soft spikey balls for children and it has tiny holes on it. Its so the heat isnt just blasting on your hair. With the twist you leave it how you would wear it and make individual twists with them. my natural hair is very very kinky, so I use eco styling gel to keep it from napping up. Another thing you can do is make flat twists with the leave out. That works also just if theh aren't done well it wont have that desired look.
I was thinking the same thing. It would look so much better because when her hair dries it's gonna look like a bush compared to the weave. The twist out would've stretched her hair and defined it WAAY more
Not even going to acknowledge the dumb negative comments from people who have never even stepped inside a cosmetology class room! Anywho, great job! i love this texrure, alot of clients think the deepwave pattern will blend with tight natural hair but this is the BOMB! Oh, anyone else notice this baddie slaying in her waist trainer and pink outfit? lol, girl we are stylist sisters for life I'm glad I'm not the only one who does it 😂😚
well neither have I in fact I plan on going to school because I been doing hair for a long time and want a shop I just feel like people are ignorant and are brainwashed into what they think a black woman's hair should look like
me too lol! The way she holds her fingers and the hair. The girl is bad!! let me finish the video I just had to scroll to see if anyone else commented on the braiding lol
I don't know a lot about here we've put this procedure is fantastic. I am so amazed at how you pull this altogether and it looks so natural. You have a real talent for doing this beautiful hair.
I was looking for your video on the Ashley install or the versatile install and couldn't find it. I am a new cosmetologist and I do basic sew-ins but I'd like to see other techniques . Your videos are VERY helpful to those trying to learn new ways❤️
I love love love watching you young ladies slay (did I use that right?😁) that hair! I am just so proud of the creativity I see! This styles looks so good and natural!I think some of you need to change your titles to Hair Architect bcuz cosmotologist does not do you justice!!
She is absolutely beautiful. I don't understand the process from the motivation standpoint, but the technical and mechanics of the application are indeed fascinating. This has to be damaging to her hair and scalp. I will share and subscribe. Thanks for the demonstration. 👍🏾❤️👀
+Marie Delo I've seen a lot of scalp damage from covering your scalp and hair with netting, a lot of root damage with tight braids like this and sew ins. Too many beauty salons continue teach damanging styles then claim absolutely no damage. (Viewers) Research these styles and claims, don't believe me or anyone else till you find out for yourself. Even worse research chemical applications on black women's hair and autopsies and how they find the condition of the brains.
+Jametra Knight yeah.. if she would have done the braids a tad bit bigger and not use the net she would be fine. but the braids she did don't look tight at all. i hate the net because i cant wash and oil my scalp properly and thats when you start to lose hair.
It looks as if it is her hair !! You can't tell if they are extensions or not. I like that, when you can't tell. I see some extensions well done too but you can't tell it is not their hair. I like this one.
I so so so soooo appreciate you making this video... My hair has length but is very fine and I want a thicker look and this will help satisfy my need right now ... Thank you for sharing. You did a great job!
👏👏👏👏 beautiful. We all have our favorite techniques. ..this is flawless and the client obviously loves it. The hair is consistently protected throughout the application and styling. ...#win #win
From a hair stylist to a hairstyles, Miss Rapunzel, u have an awesome braiding technique. Very different from the norm. Very swift also. Forget what the haters say, u do an awesome job. My hair is natural and I will try this blending method of urs, its genius. And I see ya wit that waist cincher on! I got one just like urs. I wear I mine when I do hair and work out as well. U b blessed. Keep doing what u do.
I usal dont comment on videos or look at comments at all but I wanted u up to know ppls opinion but now im glad I did. Just because an african American woman makes her hair stright or uses straight weave dose not mean she is not "imbrassing" who she is. who r u to define who she is by her hair. YourUn hair does not define who u r but is only your appearance. Dont judge a book by its cover. I have had many types of hair types in my hair including natural and I have always embraced my A.A side. And trust and believe n no mater what the hair type is it always blends. some africn americn r born with straight/"white people" hair. I should know my mom does. What im saying is do what u think is best for u. dont let the people on here make u think ur betraying ur race or not being african American just because ur not meeting up to their standards.
I have seen hair very similar to this at the top of my closet. You did a great job installing it. At the end of the day it's up to the client to do the rest. No one knows our like like us. The first time I had it installed I blamed the stylist. How ignorant of me. It took MN any trials and errors for me to see what products to and not to use. Water is definitely a must though. Keep it up dear!
Awesome braid pattern.. one of the flatest I've seen on natural hair. The finished product is very natural looking and that ponytail💗💗💗 looks exactly like her hair. Great tip on putting the edge control in the part. I love this look, I wish you could hook me up
+Najayla Thomason it depends on your hair texture her hair looks like my hair a 4c texture if you have like a 4a then this method would work someone that has tighter coils it wont last. and adding all that water to your hair every morning is not healthy
I wish I had known about this when I use to wear extensions. I would have avoided heat damage all together. Luckily it grew back out lol. Thx for sharing
Thats not blended it two different texture of hair! The style is nice but she should of had less hair out. Sorry....Plus Edge Control doesn't work on every texture hair I don't care what brand it is especially if you have 4c hair.
She is a Very Good stylist you see how she braiding her hair with those nails and I love that look so natural very flawless you go sista you even use different hair products. I have seen is others talking about Gorilla snout. you are the best I have seen yet keep doing you.
Nope, doesn't look natural, looks tacky.....her hair texture is too natural for that hair, you can see the difference. If I'm going to wear fake hair u shouldn't know that it's fake and that is way too obvious!
no disrespect to the stylist.. but this can noy be maintained by the client... the end pic is the best this will ever look on her. as soon as she gets home the most she can do is a pony puff (which was nice btw) but I'm sure she wldve liked more versatility
Beautiful job! Not only am I a professional hairstylist, I'm also a natutalista myself! For anyone to have a negative comment on this is almost insane. This is one of the problems with our people. you know people are going to hate then turn around use her method then act like they have been doing it like that for years..... from start to finish she did a wonderful job .... she has a gift for this
Rapunzel Ready Pay the haters no never mind. You did a fabulous job..And she looks really natural, just what you and the customer wanted..👍
+Jeannea Darthard i was thinking the EXACT thing.
+Rapunzel Ready I loved it. Great job Lady!
This is the best natural weave I have ever seen EVER!!!!
I agree I want HER to do my hair I'm in Miami if anyone knows where she's located please let me know
I think she's in Hampton, VA

Ok!
+Tiffany Jones Heck. I saw some girls wearing kinky hair extensions and the dumb stylist STILL flat ironed it and made it look bad
Amen sis 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
crazymusicgrl OMG 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I am sooooo unbelievably confused as to how anyone could say anything bad. This install is FLAWLESS honey! Flaw-freakin-less.
I really like this hairstyle it takes the stress off your edges, while protecting your natural hair at the same time with low manipulation and making it look fuller while your real hair is in the process of growing. I want my hair like that

+msofray Most likely because black girls get the silky straight hair knowing damn well it doesn't blend with their texture (relaxed or natural, even when flat ironed) and it just looks a mess
+Layah Garrett exactly
+Donna Chesser That's not all black girls and y'all talking about "Support black people!" and "Black women need to support each other!" but that doesn't sound like support at all. This hair looks like it's hers . I'm sure if she passed me I would be like ohhhh she got alot of hair not knowing it's weave . ppl just too petty.
Idk why everybody is commenting saying how ugly it is when nobody has a better way too do it!! Me being natural I think its flawless.. & I love love love that its big & versatile! +Denise Vasquez exactly!
I'm actually impressed because you used no heat!!!!! You showed me I can use water in my hair, without being scared of shrinkage because it will blend very well. I love it.
but could luck with detangling it when you get home! no water for me!
I like this style. You did a wonderful job, blending her natural hair type. It looks as if, it were growing from her scalp...
She blended the heck out of her hair! Go girl
First off, you stylists are always in beast mode. 8am til past 10pm and still going and probably will be back in again the next day. Y'all have my respect. *keeps watching video*

Candice Moore it looked really great until she added lots of product .like what's the use
l love the wway your fingers look when you're braiding sounds weird lol... very neat and proper
Daph Doe lol me too!
I did too. When she started I thought she was rubbing the hair smooth until a braid started to appear.
lol
Me 2, flawless technique
I said said thing I thought she was twisting hair at first
WOW! This is my type of weave undetectable. I seriously want that weave! Thanks for sharing.
Wow I've never seen anyone braid like that. Wow.
I thought the same thing. She was fast and efficient even before the fast forward. Wow!
that's why I started to read the comments because I thought it was just me lol...
lol..me tooo..i could watch her braid all day...i like to watch her fingers move
me too lol! The way she holds her fingers and the hair. The girl is bad!! let me finish the video I just had to scroll to see if anyone else commented on the braiding lol
LaTonya Moody her braids not neat though that’s the only thing..
This is very cute and natural❣ Ya'll better stop hating
i wish you included what type of hair the client had, what type of hair you used, and how many inches. besides that i love this style!!
Christina Inya She clearly mention the type of hair. It’s Mercy’s Hair Extention
Wow! This is... I'm like speechless. Very neat and undetectable. This look so comfortable. Thank you for this video.
this is magic! i'm in awe. You are incredible,I wish you could do my hair.
I don't know a lot about here we've put this procedure is fantastic. I am so amazed at how you pull this altogether and it looks so natural. You have a real talent for doing this beautiful hair.

She has great techniques, before I do a sew-in I always come to UA-cam for inspiration and ideas. I love this video.
Ummmmm...this is amazing! Looks so natural! Good job!!!
Damn that looks good. From the braids down to the blend down to the ponytail. Your hands are blessed :)

i loved her hair in a ponytail!!!
👏👏👏👏 beautiful. We all have our favorite techniques. ..this is flawless and the client obviously loves it. The hair is consistently protected throughout the application and styling. ...#win #win
I would love this hairstyle but only in the ponytail
From a hair stylist to a hairstyles, Miss Rapunzel, u have an awesome braiding technique. Very different from the norm. Very swift also. Forget what the haters say, u do an awesome job.

I love this look, I wish you could hook me up
Look how natural this look ! 😱😍😍I love it best tutorial i have seen 💁
where are you located ???
Yay! Finally somebody on here who braids the same way I do! It catches the hair so much better 😊
That stuff looks greasy...eww I hate products like that
That sew in is so good 😍😍😍😍 and she can do a ponytail! Yess
I like the hair and what was trying to accomplish. However I don't think it blends as well besides in a ponytail. Too much product as well for me.
I agree
agreed, and it wont last by the end of the day frizz disaster...also the weave is brown compared to her hair.
Well it worked for me lol
+Najayla Thomason it depends on your hair texture her hair looks like my hair a 4c texture if you have like a 4a then this method would work someone that has tighter coils it wont last. and adding all that water to your hair every morning is not healthy
+Pharah Merancier I do have coils. I just went back natural last year ,
This is actually the best natural hair sew in ever!
looks real
wow! Best I seen so far. What type of hair did you use?
I love it. I usually do a flat twist on my leave out to blend it better.

Thats not blended it two different texture of hair! The style is nice but she should of had less hair out. Sorry....Plus Edge Control doesn't work on every texture hair I don't care what brand it is especially if you have 4c hair.
That weave matches hair hair perfectly
No it doesn't it two different textures!
FIELDS B looks the same to me
I screen shot the final shot and you could see the difference when her hair is down
FIELDS B Honey it's simply an opinion what you saying is not a fact to me so let it go
This is the only video that shows EXACTLY what I’m looking for omg 😍😍😍 about to attempt this on myself 😘😁🙌🏾
All that work and it looks terrible. She looks bald on the top and then that big thing on her head is all over the place.
You are so blind.
Yanique, look again, bcaz I'm sure I'm not the one who is blind!
no disrespect to the stylist.. but this can noy be maintained by the client... the end pic is the best this will ever look on her. as soon as she gets home the most she can do is a pony puff (which was nice btw) but I'm sure she wldve liked more versatility
This looks really natural. Good job!
Absolutely beautiful & looks so natural!! Love it!!!

.Very pretty. I don't like the stuff around the edges, but I wish I lived close to get my hair done by you!!
Sooo amazingly beautiful🌻🌷💐...No judgement..But it's great to see soooo many black women embracing their natural hair textures💛💜💙
so glad I came across your video, you blended that in really good. I love it
Gorgeous! As a fellow natural. you got my vote!
Great job. While braiding you didn't even pick up loose hair. You did that. New subscriber.. Thx for sharing, Hun.. Stay Blessed.
I think it looks beautiful 😌. You did a really good job.
Absolutely crying laughing at 'neck hair baby hairs' 😂 You did a PHENOMENAL job! This us so beautiful and natural!
