@kiranpreet88 I would say not in depression, but yes there is Stress, it depends on how much you are earning, as compare to earning your expenses are also the same, it becomes difficult to save & invest, so you are just surviving paycheck to paycheck, housing crisis, difficult to buy house, this country in not for old people especially your parents, Social life is more in India, you can earn more & enjoy the life with your loved ones, Coming here if you are well settled I will not suggest to come here. Initial years when you are young are with struggles, hardships everyone goes through that, but if you are coming in mid 30s or 40s, it becomes difficult....rest is person choice

Dear Siddhant - you mentioned that every country has the "sweet spot" number of sustainanble population for every country and that due to massive immigration / student population - Canada has crossed the sustainable population number and I agree with you. Canada can always deport the additional migrants / reduce student permits and correct this problem in the coming years and this is an option which India does not have.

Most the information that you have collected are false and fake. You talked about homeless staying in road. These are especially the refugee not the students. Students are surviving and living a better life. Yes the problem regarding job is here because students who come right after 12th or bachelor doesn't have any skills neither they have any ability to do any skillful jobs. Therefore they are suffering here. Those who are high skilled and experienced are making more than 1 crore per year. I recently bought BMW here, I would have never bought if i was in India. I am planning to buy house worth 7 crore at the end of 2024, I would have never bought house there in India with the Indian salary. If you are talking about safety and security, its very secure and safe country, the crimes you are highlighted is rare and happens even less than 10 times in a year.

The problem is India is doing far worse in terms of economics than Canada. Also, har exam leak hora hai India mein. Education in colleges and universities are far worse than Canada. 50% of what you said is very biased. Crimes are happening in India as well. Women safety is at its worst. Religious riots and communal hatred has increased. And those who are running back to india must be having a plan to do somethings. Over that students who come straight adter doing 12th standard do not have any idea as to what they will do in life and they take such a major decision of changing the whole countrt itself.
