I'm pretty sure the poison damage would heal too. So he should've been taking the poison items instead of skipping. Could be OP! A poison vampire build
The spike shield is great with the count, it's how I won my first count play through. You thought you were hurting me? FOOL! I heal more then I get hurt every time you touch me!
Blitz always regrets picking up the “dark saber” and even deletes the item that works for his build just to keep it and ignore it completely later in the run 😂😂😂
And insisting on "a build", instead of embracing what RBG throws at you and adapting... Plus unexpected synergies. That's the fun in roguelites/-likes, right? But more fun to watch him goofing off, than Eden-streaks without pills;o)

Also the magnet attracts coins and all the damaging thingies, so they help you farm gold faster and increase your damage output.
That's not even a fraction of the gold builds true power, I have a save in endless mode where I'm using armor of midas and gold daggers and my health is several digits past a googol

13:50 you get 10% life steal. dark saber deals 25 damage to enemy and 2 to yourself for each extra item you get. you pulled the dark claw and a dagger so dark claw so dark claw damages you for 2 and heals you for 3, dunno why it got doubled though. then dagger heals you for 1.. that's why you got healed. also fluff doesn't get counted.
Just spam all kinds of damage blitz and you will have fun like I never died because I would just spam everything that did even a tiny bit of damage. The one that says deals one damage per item when its dropped into the machine goes well with this build.

For gold dagger you need to go magnet, gold is magnetic in this game (for some reason) . With strong magnets you can often grab all the gold every round, screw the dark saber
'That went so stupidly well and then I played it wrong at the end' 😅 I reckon from personal experience if you'd kept the magnet instead of the dark sword early on you'd have breezed through most of the game 😂
Try a run starting with poison then convert it to a golden dagger damage run over time (use normal daggers/normal golden daggers) its BROKEN! Also see if you can get the items so when you hit with daggers they get poison and get so when the enemis die there posion goes to all other enemys and also 2x poison bottles (item in the machine) and then so your streang and hp is based on money with a LOT of golden dagger also get multible magnets into your machin and upgrade them to gold as soon as you can BTW i dont exactly know the build but i have seen it before and your game likely crash before you die so thats something
two magnets and you can stick entire machine into the hole in one swing :D every other round :D (if you need two rounds at that point :D) magnetism and hoarder helps a lot
He keeps thinking the dark saber needs to be grabbed alone... and I'm pretty sure it doesn't, I used a magnet build and just murdered the heck out of the enemies.
Magnetism + Golden Knife = infinitely multiplying damage You can just keep dealing massive dmg with golden daggers due to the fact that they just deal so much dmg when you have high amounts of money. If you do the thing that makes the floors endless and endlessly scaling, you can actually 1 shot bosses with 6k HP by using a single golden dagger

after watching dangerously funny run a midas hand/magnet build, and eventually get to a quadrillion gold, with gold daggers dealing damage based on that 1 quadrillion gold, and gaining hp based on that gold as well, so he basically ended his run while having 10s of thousands of hp and dealing millions of damage per hit, it really hurt to watch you toss out the magnet.
you could have upgraded the credit card to generate money I think. each upgrade would decrease what it casts to use so you could get it to the negatives
you should have shredded the dark sword and not the magnet. the gold knives are a much better strategy than the sword. and later in the game do more damage than the sword.
