I thought he said he couldn't read, but at 17 when he's in the prison, he reads the Bible and the Cross and the Switchblade? And why didn't he ever learn to read at sometime during his life? And at the Post Office he can read also? Something isn't adding up.
When people say I cant cook. It doesnt always mean they literally cant cook, many times it means they're not particularly good at it...

To be fair to Doug, I think his story in the broad outline is probably true. Some of the details seem a bit off, like the seizure story, so some overexaggeration and misremembering are likely at work here.

Ive always loved Duane dog chapman....No matter what was going on,he always professed his love for Jesus,took a stand for his faith,and didnt hesitate to share jesus with his fugitives and give them the testimony giving God all the glory.im sure he planted so many seeds in these ppl's lives!God bless u Dog and your family😇🙏
I didn't see much "man of God" when he was cussing people out calling them mf'er. Hr did that every episode I was saw. Got tired of it and stopped watching.

Everyone who has watched this, myself included, should be praying for Dog. He can tell great stories, but that’s just it. Get are stories. If you have watched this man long enough, you would know he isn’t saved. But this is TBN. What do you expect!

What a epic story teller
To anyone criticizing this man's testimony it is not for us to judge his heart. Remember David defected to the Phillistines and fought against Israel and Paul killed Christians before really living a life for God.
God will use it all and no doubt used even the smallest gestures like "Dog" (God spelled backwards) praying at meals to remind those in the biker gang who probably had equally messed up pasts and maybe no other exposure to Jesus to at least plant a seed.
You’d be better off praying for his salvation…

A dry alcholic is a alcholic who just stops drinking and doesn't do the inner work to change your soul and personality. I'm talking through experience. I'm a recovering addict and either a 12 step program or smart recovery is needed to understand why we drank or used drugs 🤔 I'm still learning and helping other addicts to get clean
