That's right. It always crashes when the Hero-Submod is installed. That means you have to remove the Hero-Submod file of your RotWK folder temporarily to use Worldbuilder.

@@michaelevans5634 You need to have both The Battle for Middle-Earth 2 and Rise of the Witch-King installed. The Rise of the Witch-King must be updated to version 2.01. Then, you just need to run the Edain_Mod_v3.8.1.exe, install it, and run the hero_submod_3.3.exe afterward. And that's pretty much it, now you can play the mod using the new shortcut that should have appeared on your desktop.

You only need to delete that file, and with that, the hero-submod is uninstalled. Could you give me some advice? I have the Edain mod downloaded, but I cannot seem to pick up the ring as Sauron. Do you have any idea why? Every other ring hero works perfectly. Also, nice video! The vid is a big reason I’m bummed out that Sauron won’t work correctly for me
StarkillerHDX Thank you for your response. I have fixed the problem (more like it just fixed itself). In my game, modded with Edain, ring heroes must walk over to the ring to pick it up (when they get close if floats over to them.) I tested it today and it worked perfectly. Again thanks for the response though
I’m not sure if I’m using a weird version or not, but other units explicitly can not pick up or interact with the ring, a ring hero must make their way over to pick it up themselves

In the mod ring heroes aren’t supposed to be able to be given the ring, for balance purposes they made it so they have to lug their selves over there and get it where it drops. It has a countdown timer before Gollum makes off with it again
I did it with a World Builder script. Go to Edit Scripts->New Script->Action If True->New->Map->Shroud or Reveal->Reveal the entire map permanently for Player, and set it to all players. That should do it
You need to summon Halbarad and the grey company. It's the third tier spellbook power on the left. While Halbarad is on the battlefield, you can unlock Aragorns skills like Inner Strength.

Yo chill in this mod sauron is very op but with the one ring he is pretty much a god in the lore. Also he underestimated the allied forces of middle earth. He thought he would kill with isildur with tension or something idk.

Yeah. Sauron at his prime can even be a werewolf or a vampire. Mofo is the strongest maiar but he serves morgoth which is a Valar.

Ah, they are the same. If you add the normal 3.8.1 heroes, the Hero-Submod will then overwrite the normal heroes after its installed again.

Ring heroes aren't supposed to pick up the ring themselves. A unit has to take the ring and give it to Sauron.

That was Sauron.. Yeah I know weird but I spawned Sauron with the ring in worldbuilder. Thats why he is still recruitable in the fortress.

isildur also has a 50% hp draining ability for sauron specifically in this mod and bonus dmg to sauron in general
so yeah chill out
