- Welcome to my dream (DIY miniature) loft apartment! This is the very first dollhouse miniature kit I ever completed! With property prices skyrocketing, I decided to make/customise my own loft apartment from a standard DIY miniature kit. This is what my dream loft apartment would look like. Unfortunately this video won’t show the ‘making of’ as I already created all the pieces before I ever thought about sharing my crafts with anyone. But I will do this in future videos so you can see the how to’s and steps I followed (or improvised) for the various customisations 😊

Oooh is the ones where you can build a room/scenery? I’ve seen ones where they build the rooms from famous movies/tv shows, or when they animate the design of something. I’m ways impressed by those. And doing one where you can build your ideal home 🤩

Update: I recently removed all of the washi tape to glue down all the pieces, and oh my it looks so much better without the clunky tape :O
Although it doesn’t tear the paper, removing the tape leaves a little bit of a mark - sort of like ‘tanning’ marks from swimwear.
Lesson learned: Washi tape is fine for short term positioning, but don’t use washi tape for long term.
Though I admit that I wouldn’t have been able to make this video if not for the tape … I’m going to use glue going forward XD

Hello! I searched through my purchase history hehe - I’ve put the link in the description of the video (not sure if youtube allows links in the comments here). Note that the star reviews for the product are pretty bad in the link, but the one I received had all the components. I bought it from amazon where I could return the kit if there’s anything wrong with it - I’m not sure if there are other suppliers for this particular kit, but be sure to search around!

I love doing these kits and how they have all the parts required to complete them. But it’s way more fun customizing them! It’s like making a your dream home, but miniature sized (and more affordable hehe).
What have your experiences been like? :)
@@azukibeanhobbies most of the kits don't have complete kitchen/bathroom accessories and those are my fave rooms. sometimes i try to add in a shower/toilet instead of a tub, or add a stove/oven instead of a ref haha. it really all comes down to customizing them to your preference
@@telltaletelle509 That’s so true! There’s always something missing from the kits - very few have wardrobes or laundries! There was one I did which was very nice everywhere else, but had an impossible to access sink (it was in the L-part of the bench 😮)
can I live in this apartment? How much is the rent?
