    CR is suitable when the factor loadings are significantly different and Cronbach's alpha is suitable when the factor loadings are similar (or assuming equal). That is the theoretical definition of these two measures isn't it?

      In general, CR is considered to be a more accurate measure of reliability than Cronbach's alpha when the factor loadings are not equal. This is because CR takes into account the fact that some items may be more strongly related to the construct than others.
      However, CR can be more difficult to calculate than Cronbach's alpha, and it is not as widely available in statistical software.

    what if cronbach alpha test is low but composite reliability is good?
    Should we delete that latent factor or retain it.

    Thank you for your continuous explanation! It was very nice! If you can, would you please add explanation about Average Variance Extracted compared with Composite Reliability?

    Sir, what if we're doing principal component analysis? what reliability analisys technique should we use, sir?

    • @MyEasyStatistics
      @MyEasyStatistics  6 місяців тому

      while PCA focuses on reducing dimensionality and exploring the structure of data, reliability analysis techniques such as Cronbach's alpha can be used in conjunction with PCA to ensure the reliability of your measures and to understand the underlying structure of your data more comprehensively.

    How come my CR is lower than my cronbach? What could be the reason?

    scale of emotional intelligence in mt research, the chronbach alpha for all question is in the range of .230 to .300 . how I can encriese the chronbach alpha?

    • @MyEasyStatistics
      @MyEasyStatistics  6 місяців тому

      A Chronbach's alpha coefficient in the range of 0.230 to 0.300 suggests that there may be low internal consistency among the items in your scale measuring emotional intelligence. Improving Chronbach's alpha involves enhancing the reliability of your measurement scale. Some strategies you can consider to increase Chronbach's alpha are Review Item Content,Increase the Number of Items,Modify Response Format,Check for Reverse-Coded Items,Conduct Factor Analysis,Pilot Testing and Revision,Consider Item Correlations,Expert Review and Evaluate Response Patterns etc...

    Thanks. but i face problems in my data 1/ there is one items/variable in one component, 2/ from different variable there are items grouped in one component (that means in your case, one component contains items from service quality and customer satisfaction).

    Can't we just generate composite reliability thru AMOS?
