I had not noticed that I accidentally disliked from my cell phone, I love this wonderful man.
I love how just before Charles goes on and he's asked if he's ready to do his first song, he just quietly answer's "yes." And then, it's "WHEEEENNN YOUUU TTOUUUCCCHHH MMEEEE BABBBYYYY!" Just so much passion...and...eargasm.
oh man... these guys are so great. I saw them twice in Portland. The first time, Charles Bradley was weeping onstage at the end of the show, he was so full of gratitude and emotion at the love in the room, and the success he finally found with music. Never seen a singer feel it so fully like that. And he had the room enraptured, it was like going to church. The man has a message of love to share, and he is putting it out there with so much true feeling and presence. I cannot recommend seeing them live enough... its such a beautiful thing!

I just want to give this man, Mr. Charles Bradley a big hug. His pain is so palpable, and his voice just carries such a vibrantly beautiful sound. Menahan Street band are the perfect musical and creative backing for that screaming eagle of soal to soar.

love seeing the guys in this band play with so many outfits, Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings, Antibalas, Amy Winehouse, Budos Band - so many artists use these guys and they always tear it up.
What a pleasure randomly finding this video, seing the first part and recognizing few faces from the band the arcs. In three face you can clearly heard the beginings of the arcs' style

The band plays together SO well. Which makes Mr. Bradley sound so good. That's stuff you learn as a musician from experience. I hope to see this amazing group live one day before I die.
for a while, listening to this band, i was amazed by the guitarist's flawless tone... only to come to realize this entire band is sooooo tight!!! charles bradley is amazing. as is the menahan street band.

I heard Charles singing at the Love supreme jazz festival last weekend and he was my highlight, I had to to get closer - Incredible voice- hope to catch Charles in London in october
Had last weekend Pukkelpop 2013 and was directly thinking again on Pukkelpop 2012 where they have played. Reason why I start to listen to this again.

Immediately I looked for videos of Charles Bradley on UA-cam and heard all the day so many songs of this great singer. Congratulations Mr Bradley. I noticed that you sang in "Virada Cultural" in Sao Paulo, unfortunatelly I have not saw you. I will expect your returno to Brazil. I honestly suggest: Play and sing at "Bourbon Street Music Club", the best place of soul, R&B, and Black Music of São Paulo (maybe of Brazil). Regards, Neto (an lover of good world music).

I had the privilege of seeing them that night at Neumo's... A near-to religious experience, just incredible. He's not only an amazingly talented vocalist but a truly kind and wonderful human to boot! At one point he invited a couple up on stage so the man could propose! All while Charles sang of love and devotion... One of the most incredible nights I have ever had!
I got the new power soul group to save the planet... Aloe Blacc, Jacob Banks, Charles Bradley and The Menahan Street Band.
