I’ve always found it weird Sky Sanctuary played AFTER Death Egg Zone, especially for Sonic/Tails as they go from Sky Sanctuary to Death Egg Zone, and only Knuckles goes from Death Egg Zone to Sky Sanctuary.
This is amazing! I always loved the Sonic credit medleys, especially the one for this game, and I always like when people create new variations like these. Picking certain parts of songs in a game and attempting to make them cohesively connect can be fun. I guess you could say they're lazier than creating a brand new track, but I like them, I wish more games did this sorta thing
Not enough space to fit. The track has to be shorter than 3 minutes and I couldn't make the other songs shorter on that version without ruining them. It was also the track that ended up having to go so as to keep the nice Hydrocity > Carnival Night transition.
@@MasteredRealm Guessing that the 3 minute timer is to fit in with the original credits time of S3K? If so then that's understandable, although it would be nice to hear a version without this limitation at some point.
@@roki3263 Since I made this thinking about the modding community, adhering to the original length is the only option I had. The original Sonic 3C credits omits Marble Garden, Mushroom Hill and Flying Battery due to the length issue. At least I was able to fit them all on the MJ version.
The proto ver just feels right. I feel like flying battery and/or hydrocity could have been shortened to have there medley play once to make room for marble garden but still this is amazing!
On another note, I find it strange that Origins uses the S3 versions of the title screen and 1-up jingle, but every other jingle is the S&K version. I'm not complaining because I like the S3 jingles better overall, but one would think they would just make it all S&K in Origins to keep it consistent.
It's simply easier to use the SK Title screen, since all other jingles are from SK. They only used the S3 extra life because that's what Mania and Sonic 4 uses, so it makes more sense to use the better known jingle.
The way each song transitions into the next is so smooth, like the zone transitions in game.
like everyone else i'm bummed about Marble Garden being omitted in the prototype tracks version, but this is still great

Even though it’s in the original the Sandopolis to death egg transition is so smooth that when I hum sandopolis it just goes right to death egg

I like how you did one with proto tracks and one with mj tracks, I wish someone could mod this to sonic 3 A.I.R.
The MJ version feels like the true version of the credits.

But I'm glad to hear CNZ again (A.I.R. version forgot about it)
The length of the track has to be 2:50ish or else the credits will desync. You either make sections shorter to fit more zones or skip zones.

Why you didn't used Prototype Mushroom Valley Bass version?
I only used the proto tracks for Carnival Night Icecap and Launch Base. The rest are all final.
