I make this all the time for my family, I do add the smoked sausage to the fried cabbage. I use both green and red cabbage. I do my noodles like you do. I serve it also with cooked brats. The juices from the brats I’ve cooked I add it to the noodles, gives the noodles a little flavor and color. My family absolutely loves it. Not telling you to do yours cause we all do things differently, just sharing the way I do my fried cabbage. It’s a very delicious dish. Haha little house on the prairie is still my favorite!!! I make Colcannon which is cabbage onions sauted, then add to mashed potatos, put in casserole dish cover with cheese, put in oven to melt-yummy!! I think this is one for me to try.
My X mother in law used to make these but she used pork chops instead of bacon. I make it for my kids and they love it. They like bacon better so I'll make it with bacon next time. Thanks for sharing. ❤

I used to have a really old one called a Sunbeam and I had a lid to it and it was really cool and old as dirt you can find them at thrift stores Walmart sells newer ones so they're really good pants to have you can cook anything in them

You need to go to a store and buy a pull through knife sharpener. Fits in your drawer, easy to use. Slide through about 5 times and your good to go!
