Wow!! Fabulous video. I was born and raised in Ffynnongroyw, and was actually walking through those very woodlands just a few weeks ago with the dogs. It really is the most peaceful, serene place. Thank you so much.

Yeees! So brilliant. I really love this video with this great footage of the trees and the waterfalls. The short distance is great and I think you use the mavic in the tripod mode, which is fantastic I think.!

Thank you Loci, sadly just after I started to get to grips with the Mavic Pro things happened in life which unfortunately put things on hold for a long time, but my life is back on track now so hopefully get some more filming done in the New Year. :-)

Did you find any difference controlling the Mavic with some tree coverage like that, where you get less solid GPS signal? I've flown my Hubsan in very thick tree coverage/foliage and found it more challenging to control it. Most of your footage didn't look that thick though.
only slightly more so, it's tree coverage but also a deep valley in places which meant weak or no GPS on the Mavic. it sometimes switched to atti mode here and there, a bit more wandering but not too much to be conserned about.
It just wanders more when there is really weak GPS and wind you have to worry about and really have good flying skills to not crash it.
That's not good, Mavic did stay pretty much is the same spot and it was very windy on one of the days even through the trees.
