Yeah, hopefully with the next iteration Microsoft gives us some tools to specifically define crops. I would really like to not have to eyeball everything. When you have a bunch of guides and a bunch of pictures, the snapping really makes it kind of hard to tell what your snapping to.
the second painting does not slide from right to left during transition. using morph and the background just appear. What is the transition setting should be between 1st painting and 2nd painting?
I had the same problem and had to slow down playback and watch what he did. For the background image you need to right click it and select 'change image' to get the transition to be nice and smooth
Great tutorial, but running into an issue on my end. I am trying to transition from the slide with the four images to the slide spotlighting only one. Instead of the image smoothly expanding, the larger image fades into place over the smaller one. It looks... strange. Any guidance?
Yes I use first square and after rectangle. I can’t see the square underneath of course but I select the whole slide and the option still greyed out for me :(

when i morph 6:03 the other images stretch and not just slide
You have to ungroup the pictures on the second slide.

Yes! But you'll need to replace the images outside of the canvas as well, which can be a bit annoying!
Merge Shapes in greyed out for me :( I've used every single tutorial under the sun and no results :(
