Now if it had heavy suspension upgrades, roll cage, stripped interior with backseats removed, widebody flares, front aero kit, then I can consider that closer to a race car but still not call it "full blown".
Great race. That light wieght fox body really had some speed in the turns. I would have loved to see those two guys and cars go at it for a consecutive 3 lap battle
@@cerberus1166 I got one on the road for a buddy years ago up here in ontario. A 98ish green gxe I believe it was. Rotten as hell but it hauled ass and was $700. He drove it a few years and eventually drove it to the scrapyard when he got a newer car. Nissan didn't always suck.
So why did the mustang get screwed in the finals? It’s supposed to be 2 out of 3. Preliminary races do not count towards that, that’s not how it works.
That white olds is purpose built for this event it has a very healthy little engine and suspension work these old olds mobiles dont handle like that in stock form.

@@furyofgungnir i agree to let people have fun, but those mods would still exist. we get modifications that were used in racing that are obsolete. these people hear a loud rally car, and want to replicate it. yet dont replicate anything other than the loud exhaust. it is pretty stupid. not saying you have to be fast to be loud, but youd be telling yourself a lie if youd say it doesnt look foolish when something is screaming loud yet slow. that being said, that acura sounded really damn good.
