Hi Mike. I have the Band 3 and would love to upgrade to the 4. Is it out yet? Sites only take preorders. I like the color screen but I wonder if the battery lasts as long as the band3?
Thanks for watching Tito. I was sent mine from a friend at banggood but I think there are generally released pretty much in all regions now.
With regard to the battery life I'm only a few days in and still at 94% even with the extra features turned on and brightness on full.
I didn't get the 3 and went from the Fitbit surge and band 2 so difficult to compare although the battery is so much better than the surge for sure

Thanks! Straight to the point. I didn't scroll down the options far enough, which is strange as I've scrolled down that list dozens of times of reboot it. Finally killed its pairing with my old phone and it linked to my new phone instantly. PS. Is the remote music control working reliably for everyone?
Glad it helped. I haven’t tried the music remove but from previous versions it seems to only like working with certain apps on the Device itself
@@mikesunboxing The music controller is working much better now. It still has to re-establish bt contact each time I access it (It jumps back to the home screen), but has no problem connecting in a second or two now. It could not do that on my iPhone.
Thank you so much! I've been going crazy for hours - couldn't get the band to sync to the app after deleting and redownloading the app to try to solve a different problem. I didn't think to scroll to look for more options and just kept rebooting thinking it was a translation problem rather than there actually being both a reboot and a reset. Now... any idea how to get it to actually give me my WeChat notifications? I started having this problem with my Mi Band 2 when I upgraded my phone to iPhone XR, and the problem persists with my new Mi Band 4.

This video has really helped me thank you. My band was showing the time two hours ahead, no amount of syncing put it on the correct time despite what the iPhone was showing ie the correct time.
The two options on the phone didn’t appear to do anything, but the app option of removing and then re pairing appeared to fix it. It’s now showing the correct time thankfully.
Wonder what the issue could have been?

Mike's unboxing, reviews and how to I am trying to enable WhatsApp notifications through the Band and it goes Turning On but then doesn’t move past that and eventually times out?
An update of the iOS app fixes the issue. Now got alerts for WhatsApp and incoming calls.

Is there any way you can backup your settings you have for mi band 4 (apps you're getting notifications for, DND hours settings, etc) before the factory reset, or there's no option like that available?

maybe try cleaning the charging ports and also see if you can get a circuit tester to see if the cable is okay

why does my battery run out so quickly I'm assuming it's because I havent used it in a long time so do I have to run it for a few days? my battery cant last a day and before my old mi band 3 had longer battery life but I used it frequently so pls help me confirm if I have to run it for a few days before it actually makes the battery life longer
not sure it should last a lot longer than that, maybe the battery has been left flat for too long and now is not able to fully recharge

sounds like the touchscreen or sensor is damaged. I would try and return it as faulty
Hi. I used the factory reset and now I got the pairing screen, but it does not pairs anymore with the phone. It shows a message "it was not possible to pair, redefine the band and try again". How come, because it's already redefined!!! Is there a way to redefine it when it's not connected and with factory reset already applied?
Yes that is very strange and I don’t have any answer but I’ll look into it and see what I can find

Hello, I need help. I've been using mi band 4 for a long time, but in the last week, when I go outside to run, I turn on my phone location and the countdown from 3 to 1 starts. Anyway, after the count, the bracelet does not tell me in the headphones as before I went one kilometer because even though I ran 10 kilometers, it reads 2 kilometers. The weather is not recorded correctly, and all this is from the location, because when I finish running, in the end the GPS shows me that it did not count 90% of the places where there is a good signal and I ran. How can I fix it?

Tracker screen frozen, how then? I unpaired the tracker because i got blank screen, after unpair, the band shows some chinese, then frozen after charging.
let it go completely flat for a while and then recharge it and it should come back to life

I followed your advice. Now my Mi Band 4 is stuck completely on "Pair First" - but it isn't visible to either of my phones, old or new so is impossible to pair. How can I get any other screen? (except Regulatory, which is the only other option but that's info only). Not only that, but I've "lost" over 700 km walked in the last 10 weeks.
what was the problem with the tracker before you tried to reset it?
I changed to a new phone.

It does reset every day after midnight. I don't quite understand what you are trying to do

Because I tried resetting my mi band 4 but the downloaded watch face doesn't go away
watch faces are baked into the firmware / OS when choosen

get the original firmware on the sd card and then run the reset and it will update from the card

Hey mike i didn't unpair the mi band 4 with my phone. Then i uninstall the app due to error on updating. And now i can't pair the mi band 4 with my phone because on the scree of mi band 4 say "connect to mi fit to update again". Could you help me solve this problem?
Leave it to go completely flat and eventually it will totally factory reset but it can take a long time as the battery is pretty good
My screen is dead tho... any way to do it without being in the band itself?
I wanted to reset it, to see if the screen would work, it just died on me randomly.

My Xiaomi band 4 is just a white screen. I've tried unpairing and repairing but it's just a blank white screen with no way of resetting it to factory. Any ideas what to do with outside of returning it?

I have hidden all apps on the mi band and don't have access to the phone it was paired to. With the option "limit pairing" enabled, I am now locked out from my own mi band! Can you help me reset it?

Hi! My band stopped tracking my sleep. Other features like activity or heart rate are still working, it syncs to the phone. Will I lose all history and data from the app if I reboot it (is it like a phone restart) or that's just with factory reset?
reset is like a phone reboot factory reset resets everything but app data remains in the app

you really need to remove the device from the other phone to be able to reconnect i think

it didnt work with my brothers band. he couldnt pair it anymor with his phone. i tried to pair it with mine and it didnt also work. my brother is very sad that he couldnt use his band anymore.

That is pretty normal as you are moving and the bumps in the road will translate to walking motion to the tracker.
