Since 1986 I have owned a 1969 roadster, its orginal, wire wheels, but then again it has a 321 disi and led lights look tempting, Imagine a youngster seeing a rubber bumper mgb gt with minilite wheels, motolite steering wheel, mild tuning, the B series engine still sounds great, the insurance is pretty good, Makes me laugh about being slow, the legal limit 70 mph in the UK. Oh and you can always go back to stock.
@Cole hey fellow GT owner - I didn't have to rob a bank for LOTS more go, built my '72 to aprox 120 HP, still smooth and reliable ... bored 030 over, 10.5 compression, extensive head flow work, Delta D9 cam, SU HS6 carbs etc etc ... no shame at stoplights now dude!
Taking it out feels like an event
I like that quote
That's how I feel about my 73 MGB GT
Great video
We’ve just picked up a project ‘76 GT - I didn’t think they would but the rubber bumpers have really grown on me!
What a lovely car Lee. I love the fact you’ve kept the bumpers. I have a 1969 MGC GT.
Not sure if you'll see this comment but just wondering where these gorgeous driving roads are, thank you
Hey Alex - this was shot on Exmoor in North Devon, England
Great video of a great car!
Sweet B. I had a 74 Spitfire 1500 when I lived in Scotland while I was in the US Navy.
Sounds great! Thanks for watching!
Great! Video currently restoring a 1974.5 very rusty mgb gt. Thanks for the motivation 😎
Cheers for watching Gregory! Lee has made his MGB super cool! I am very envious - in fact it's given me the British Sports car bug a tad!
Really good vid, I enjoyed watching, love your GT you've got that looking so right!
Thanks for watching mate!
