Some say it's JBL and some say it's PL2. But I can give you a guide: the PL2 has more powerful bass at higher volumes and mid and well defined treble, but more muted when you turn on the sound boost, whereas JBL loses to PL2 in the bass but has very characteristic highs of JBL , which makes some prefer it besides having a volume a little louder than the PL2 and distorting less in some songs. JBL manages to spread the sound more throughout the environment and according to reports it IMPRESSES for being a small box with a loud sound and without distortion. The JBL is water and dust resistant, but has a battery that lasts less than 2 hours in practice, compared to the PL2 that lasts a little more than 8 hours on the watch. It's a question that goes according to the needs of each one!
I have had both, got to say; to me the JBL sounds more balanced. I'm a producer myself and i think my mixes sound more true to reality on the JBL. Tho both are outstanding for their respective sizes honestly
Got the LGs on sale € 20,- so i bought 2, you can link them in stereo. Sounds amazing especially for it's size.
